I have been wondering about this right after UMT people said what a compromise of a life Pratigya is living after marrying Krishna. And in today's episode, Neelima said why P is not wearing modern clothes like before and that she has changed a lot.
Do you think, because of marrying Krishna, Pratigya has to let go of these things?
Personally I don't think this is entirely true. I remember on the very first episode, Prats gave away her modern clothes to her friends saying now her family won't allow it. Clearly, Saxes are also not comfortable with girls wearing modern clothes. We saw that further in the case of komal and how saxes reacted.
Yes pratigya had to compromise in their relationship and so has Krishna to make some adjustments, no doubts there.
But if Prats was to marry an educated man like Nitin or one of the Mathurs, I still see her wearing a saree like the female members of that family. Then why is it shown that P had to go through this coz she married a man like Krishna? Or did Prats friends expected P to rebel against such traditions as well? But then that goes against what she did in the very first episode and we have never seen P opposing this tradition ever. 😕
So are the cvs showing Krishna as representing the orthodox views of the society in Allhabad and other parts of the country? Are they questioning those views? I don't have a problem with it then but making it a personal attack on krishna, IMO, is not right. 😕
I hope I have come across right..Your views please 😊
