Dont like The K vehicle being used but its always been the case, IMO..

Yeah.this Mumbai trip seems to bring up a lot of P's college life which doesn't fully sit with her character right from the start.

K has been the vehicle a lot of the time...if not him then one of the thakurs...

Do you think, because of marrying Krishna, Pratigya has to let go of these things?

Personally I don't think this is entirely true. I remember on the very first episode, Prats gave away her modern clothes to her friends saying now her family won't allow it. Clearly, Saxes are also not comfortable with girls wearing modern clothes. We saw that further in the case of komal and how saxes reacted.

Yes pratigya had to compromise in their relationship and so has Krishna to make some adjustments, no doubts there.

But if Prats was to marry an educated man like Nitin or one of the Mathurs, I still see her wearing a saree like the female members of that family. Then why is it shown that P had to go through this coz she married a man like Krishna? Or did Prats friends expected P to rebel against such traditions as well? But then that goes against what she did in the very first episode and we have never seen P opposing this tradition ever. 😕

So are the cvs showing Krishna as representing the orthodox views of the society in Allhabad and other parts of the country? Are they questioning those views? I don't have a problem with it then but making it a personal attack on krishna, IMO, is not right. 😕

I hope I have come across right..Your views please 😊

Exactly... somehow whenever CV's want to show something wrong... the root cause for them is Krishna... he has flaws/and is wrong in many cases... but as per the CV's ...only HE has flaws...that is NOT right..😡 ... he is uneducated/stubborn...but not a fool.

Even Pratigya has flaws...but CV's never show that ... Thats my POV ppl... no offense

I want CV's to show their growth as a couple...not just PBJ and that Krishna is just an uneducated stubborn man... as if he does not have any other good aspects.

Hmm ...waiting to see P's answer on monday..

completely agree with you.

he ain't the only one. even Saxes do. Pratigya was not allowed to wear these clothes even at her parent's home when she actually wanted to so there is compromise here as well 😕

at Krishna's place all the other married ladies cover their head but Prats.. and he never forced her..

he has left it on her to decide when she is ready to become a mother.. if he had such an orthodox mentality he would force her especially after taunts from his family and would he allow her to have her way when we know for Thakur men how it is a matter of their so called honor to have control over women. He has been so understanding in so many issues, for her deviating from Thakur norms which define masculinity for them..

He had just not allowed her to work but even that topic was never discussed again. If she shows how desperately she wants to work, he will surely allow her for her sake.

From what we hv seen in mkap so far, it is clear that P has a liking for western outfits but at the same time respects traditional values too. The skepticism of Neelima about P hving a happy marriage will be justified if she pinpoints other significant changes in P's behaviour.

It's not the clothes that make the man. I, will say it is a common question amongst girlfriends. It has nothing to do with society.

My Views On marriage - Nobody cannot be the same as b4 marriage...

They hv to give n take sumthing or the other to make their life better n lovable... I guess thts what both Krishna n Pratigya hv done so far... NOBODY IS DESTROYED[KP] n Now they r more than happy with each other... They don't hv complaints as such.. and if at all they hv they talk it out also...

What i want to know is WHY all of sudden such kind of thoughts are made to bring in K's mind.by cv's ..?? If all this is done to bring a positive change in his attitude & start respecting women more then I'm okk with all this...Don't want K doing any further stupidity after all this.

BTW nice topic & nicely put..:)
