I don't think K is behaving anything different 4m his character skin, He in allahbad also behaves in such manner wenever went to a posh HOTAL....😆 bas some attitude change has come in Krish.

Agree with u pooja 😃 but i don't think the CVs r showing K as orthodox...if that were the case he wouldn't have married P in the first case...n wouldn't have agreed to postpone their child for some time even after hearing all kinds of stuff from SS...its mainly about what people like nilima thinks of a man like K...she is P's friend n is shocked to see such a contrasting relation ...she would have never imagined that P would go n marry such a man n be happy with him...the P she knew wore modern clothes...but we know P is really traditional minded n doesn't actually care about it...we have never seen her even hinting of wearing even salwar after marriage...n we saw her agree wholeheartedly when K said that sari is tradition n DILs shouldn't wear modern type clothes in front of FILs n MILs...P is a sacrificing girl...she does it for her family n her love ... nilima is living with her husband only...she won't know what type of life P is leading...with in-laws , that too criminal minded in-laws and all...with feoticides , forced abortions, attempts to murder, kidnapping, beating, abuses , slavery n a host of all other problems surrounding her life...

nilima is wrong in assuming things...n her perspective of uneducated people also needs to change...nilima doesn't know that both K n P gives each other their space , not in all things, but in many things...K don't even know what was P like before marriage or in her college days to be precisely ...IMO they have never talked much about it...K was not interested in knowing her college life except for the fact that she don't have any close male friends...we saw how he cut off her musings about her college life n asked only what he wanted to know...after that the subject was discarded...n P gave him strong hints(first orally then through her article) about her desire to work but again he turned it down n P left the matter as it is...she never raised her desire to work again n also never let K know that she still wanted to work...in only that matter we can say P compromised...n ofcourse her little compromises in his house...the only compromise K has done is to agree to work , but when he found that he almost lost her , he did it with a lot more heart so that she would be happy...but P never ever expressed her desire to wear any other dress ...

both K n P have changed a lot after marriage ...both have learned to adjust, P more than K...both have adjusted to their new life...n we all know P has accepted K as he is...but nilima don't know that...she don't know the kind of strong bond of love kriya has... i think this whole diraama is for K to ask P to wear salwar...that's it...n here also P will wear it for him ... like she wore the shirt...

👏 poojie brilliant post u exactly said wht i was thinking even Sax,s r orthodex when it cames to clothes i also remember P introduction epi where she give her western clothes to her friend and say tht her Dadi will, throw her out of house if she wear them,, dont u think there also she was living comprising life with her own family, I also rmember tht she was ready to marry nitin just bcos her stupid khadoos dadi went on hunger strike and emotionally blackmail her, 😡 remember she said to rolli tht she dosent dfeel anything for nitin.

Saree is a very common thing in India that girls generally wear sarees after marriage... jus as you said even SAxenas are not okay with it...
But i would suggest that krish sometime should know prats previous lifestyle.. Krish is never an orthodox man. i would say rather that he is more broadminded and has always given prats her free space... yes, he cannot accept the fact that prats had boys in her friends circle or she talking to a man but still he never has a crooked mind...
anyone who for the first time sees Krish or meets him for the first time would think what Nilima thought but a person like prats who knows in and out of him knows how pure he is at his heart.

Dhanya u analysed it very nicely well said. they both have given up a lot after they fell in love with each other. like u said P more. she is doing it willingly because she loves krishna that is the reason. but if this whole track is just to make P wear salwar then i don;t like it. it is something silly. i want this to be a big one. i mean krishna has to realise how P was before marriage and he hast o change himself for the good i mean like getting a education and get a job for his own or maybe business but other stuff like his innocence his love for prats all have to remain the same. krishna is good he only needs a little polishing then he will be a diamond . there i s no question abt that. see he was not ready to work how much P said he didn;t hear and she left him but when she was in that bed he wanted to do it for her from his heart. so here also if he has to learn and write he has to do it from his heart. nothing else will work. he is a strong man and he decided that is it. i don;t know how this orthodox came in between krishna is not orthodox if he is then he wouldn;t have married P at all in the first place as she is from another caste. and second thing he won;t have supported P in not changing her name. there r lot of things which K did for P which is so different from hi s famiy. one has to see which background he is from too. for P's friends like dhanya said they don;t know anything abt K and his family. we all change after marriage. it is give and take. it is a compramise. both have to do. it is not something new. still i believe the woman do more than the men.

If you all remember, when P slapped Angad in the train... the so-called modern educated saxes acted as if the the sky had fallen... they were sooo scared for P, just because a small-time hoodlum teased her and she hit him... they tried to marry her off to the first available groom...
... if that is not traditional thinking I don't know what is...

Although in the beginning K had bad opinion on women in general (that paan dialogue... don't remember the exact words) he has always treated Prats with respect..(barring one or two occasions like the 1st hallimoon)... also on the question of K not allowing P to work... IMO its a matter of status for him... she being a "Thakur Babu" and not a question of P being a woman...

her frnd lives in bombay whileee prats n krishu r frm a smaller city allahabadd..
buh well dts ur own personal chocie whether to wear jeans skirts or eastern wear...
av seenn uneducated ppl wearn jeans too:O dt dsnt tels dey're educated or nah..i mean clothes can neva tel it:O
n av seenn very educated ppl wearn only eastern wear..
it depends where v live n wat family background v ave..
n wateva it is prats luks prettier den nilima in sarresss:)n very decent tooo..
