Radio jockey turned -actor sana sheikh will soon enter pratigya as ganga, a demure young village girl who will become a part of sajjan singh's thakur family. currently the show's story has reached apoint where , instigated and manipulated by his mother, krishna signs divorce papers to break his marriage wit pratigya. while amma is feeling triumphant, pratigya has left for her parent's house. in comes ganga. who is brought by sajjan singh from his village and her entry into the house baffles everyone. " ganga is a poor village girl and sajjan singh has an agenda for her.it is a fairly long cameo and she will change equations and create new relationships in the family . in fact, she will create ripples in the thakur household, '' says sana. apparently, ganga is a dasi and whether she will try getting closer to krishna is any body's guess. what's notable is that after two duds in the last one year, sana has finally landed a role in a hit show . she was last seen playing the lead in mera naam karegi roshan...
