Excellent Post Tanthya... ๐ u have described P and K very precisely...
However, still some doubts remain... (my POV entirely)
Its true in the case of K and P, both their ideologies complement each other... they are two halves of a whole and like u said they need each other and learn from each other...they are doing it out of LOVE... each will accept the other's eccentricities and try to either adapt or change... in the present MKAP it is Krishna who has adapted much, more than Prats...
However, my POV is that applying idealism or realism will depend on the SITUATION...
How much effect will idealism have on people like Shakti, Amma or Radhe ????
Can Prats really afford to be idealist with them ??? How long would she survive without realistic K helping her ??? The realist K, on the other hand will deal with everything life throws at him, though he might falter sometimes... it may not be perfect, but it will work...
An idealist on the other hand, not only has to be idealist himself... but needs an idealist environment to make things work...
Recollect Prats idealist preachings to K to go out and do some kanooni work... but she was clueless as to WHAT work...
Even now in the case of Radhe, her idealism seems to be similar to trying to act squeaky clean when one's feet is mired in muck...
@Mera... superb post...โญ๏ธ
No , Uma ..their ideologies do not complement each other ... while realism tends to be satisfied with what it gets...Idealism seeks perfection ...while Realism will look at a subject warts and all and take this into cognizance...Pratigya's idealism tends to overlook this warts [ Case in point , Aarushi's case ]..
Agree with you a realist can survive without idealism ...but an idealist cannot survive in the present day scenario based on pure idealism...IMO ...Idealism needs a heavy dose of Realism for it to even keep lub dubbing ...
Idealism can work for a while ...but to sustain it realism is needed ...
Agree with u on ppl like Shakthi, Amma and Radhe ..Idealism will come across as weakness and cowardliness
