Just out of curiousity, because we seem to be the serial showing the most number of slaps 😆, I thought I'd make a tally of who slapped who and why. Plus I wanted to see whether the Saxenas win or the Thakurs 😆 So, here goes: (please help me out coz I must have forgotten a few)

Thakurs:

Krishna Baba: 1. Slapped Prats when she revealed their marriage secret to the entire family

2. Slapped Angad for chasing Prats and Arushi on the streets of Allahabad

Sajjan Singh: 1. Did he slap Shakti while Shakti was getting arrested for attempted murder?

2. Slapped Shakti when he found out about Kesar's abortions

3. Slapped Shakti when he met his illegal wife at a friend's house

4. Slapped Shakti to show Komal he wasn't in on Prat's burning attempt

5. Slapped Amma for the same reason as above

Amma: None? 😕

Shakti: None? 😕

Komal: 1. Slapped Piyasiya when she said Adarsh won't come to take her home

Kesar:

Ghanti Dadi:

Saxenas:

Pratigya: 1. Slapped Arushi when she ran away from home

2. Slapped Angad, for misbehaving with her

3. Slapped Radhe for misbehaving with her

4. Slapped Angad for blackmailing Saxenas and trying to marry Arushi

5. Slapped Krishna when he gatecrashed her engagement

6. Will slap Krishna for not listening to her/signing divorce papers?

Shamu: 1. Slapped Adarsh coz he's teamed up with Sajjan Singh

2. Slapped Angad when he wanted to marry Arushi

3. Slapped Arushi after she returned from her role as Jethani at TN

Nainaji: 1. Slapped Krishna today coz she thought he willingly shot Prats 😡

2. Slapped Adarsh when she suspected an affair with Roli

3. Slapped Arushi for being rude to Krishna

4. Slapped Prats when she said she wanted to marry Baba 😡

Arushi: 1. Slapped Shakti with a shoe 😆, coz he was harassing her

2. Slapped Prats at her mandap, for breaking up her and Aman's marriage 😡

Adarsh: None? 😕

Irritating Dadi: None? 😕

I'm sure I've missed a few, so please help me out there... and give me the reasons also for those I don't recall.

Till now though... the Winning family is:

The Saxenas... With a grand total of 15 slaps (compared to 8 of Thakurs) 👏

The "Great Slapper" title is shared by Apni Pratigya 👏👏... followed closely by her Mommy, Naina

And... the "Great Slappee" award (one on the recieving end)... is Shakti!! (5 times! 😆 😆 Congrats Shakti! You so deserve this title... and we hope you retain it for years to come. Next one might just come from Kesar.

One thing I don't understand... even after 23+ mighty slaps being registered on the show. What good did it do? Did it even slightly alter the person on the recieveing end for the better?

Edited: Am not counting the beatings and bashings by the Thakurs or anyone else. Just one-off slaps... you know the kind which make one loud noise and then the camera zooms on everyone's faces 20 times each 😆

Hey Elle,

SS has slapped KN before, when P and K bring Kesar back from the hospital after KN tried to force her to have a fourth/fifth abortion.

I've lost count on the number of time SS has slapped Amma.

P slapped K after he gatecrashed her engagement and wouldnt let go of her hand until she admitted she had feelings for him.

KN has slapped Kesar many times in the past.

Nainaji slapped Adarsh cos she thought he was having an affair with Roli

Yep Prats slapped Angad not once but twice - once for laying his dirty panwala hands on her and second when he came over to GH bragging about how he was gona marry Arushi during the blackmail track.

Forgot - K slapped Angad for chasing her and Arushi through the streets of Allahabad. Oh ya, and he back handed some guy during the time P and Adarsh were out to find a lawyer. P had a go at him for starting a fight and the guy said something (cant remember).

Ok, Elle!

I will do the painful job of mentioning a slap during the maiden's bigamy track. So annoying was the track ......... Maiden slapped Prats at the mandap. Anyone else recall Prats settled the account at the Niwas?😛

Krishna has raised his hand at Prats on a couple of occasions but made a fist instead like he did during Prats/Nitin engagement.

KN's has slapped Kesar and kicked her too, we've lost track of the count. If going by number of incidences it would be Saxes if by number of hits it's definitely Takurs. SS and KN will make a run but KN may probably win, it's been his hobby in the evenings to beat Kesar.

We've seen Takurain fling water on Prats face and milk on Krishna's face. She pulled Prats by the hair during coal face painting and sickle/rifle face off. Does that count?

Nainaji has slapped Arushi as well.. when she misbehaved with Krishna

While Arushi has slapped Prats...

As for Adarsh I wonder if his attacks on Krishna and Angad count they were beyond slaps !!

😆 Thanks sweet-bhanki..... just realized how much I've forgotten Thanks for reminding me of all these forgotten tracks. I'll add these to my list, if you don't mind.

I know SS and Shakti have kicked and slapped Amma and Kesar multiple times. But I don't count them as slaps, they are full on beatings.

But one would think, why is every slap considered such a big thing, when everyone on the show has been on the giving and recieving end? At this rate, it should be considered very commonplace 😆

Also Shymu slapped Angad outside his house when he said he wanted to marry Arushi. (before he pulled out the knife, but was stopped by Chandu) The couples had gone on their honeymoon.

Really? Arushi slapped Prats? When? 😆 I guess my memory's fading.

I'm not counting the beatings.... in that case, our Krishna would win hands down (or maybe SS)

Arushi slapped prats when she made an attempt to stop her from entering a bigamous relationship with the one and only KN (on her wedding day) !!!

Really I feel Kn might just win.. beating Kesar seems to be a hobby for him !!

If we count beatings and bashings, KN would win. So I decided only to count major Thappads, which are not followed by full beatings.

Thanks, read Mera's post just after replying to yours.

As of now, KN is close to winning..... but i the "Most Slaps Recieved" category 😆
