Thuppud Thursday is here. Whether Prats snaps Krishna into acknowledging her with one stinging volley across his face or a series of them is still pending. Between them the score will be 2 to 1 in favor of Prats.

I decided to update my thread, because of the new gift Krishna will recieve from Prats.

This is Pratigya's 6th slap on the show, and 2nd to Krishna. She seems to have made a habit of it. Infact, the whole Saxena family is leading with 15 slaps compared to 8 of the Thakurs (if you don't count the beatings)
Question is: Is Slapping an acceptable form of violence for the educated lot? While the educated cannot resort to beatings and bashings like the uneducated uncouth lot, is this the way to relieve yourself of your pent-up anger?
Were each of Pratigya's 6 Thappads followed by PBJ moments? Have her slaps managed to achieve their desired effect?

Anger, esp. blinding anger spells danger. Often people are known to lose control of their faculties when confronted with an issue that blinds them that they don't even remember what transpired when they lost control. When Prats slaps Krishna it's said she's doing it to slap some sense into him does that mean he has been in a daze?

Just going by the 2-1 Prats-Krishna slap count, Prats decided to get engaged to Nitin uncle. When Krishna slapped her she walked out on him. Today she slaps him for refusing to listen like he did at the engagement and refused to let go of her arm. She does it to get his attention, he has slapped her for exceeding limits.

Educated people are expected to think before they act. But come to think of it formal education has little to do with loss of control. Environment and the circumstances around which we grow up train and program us to understand how the handle emotions and situations. If one is surrounded by and exposed to people losing control in every day life they learn that life is handled the way they see it. But in some rare cases, the person's personality acts as a buffer and in spite of such exposures takes the opposite stance and for they are able to reflect and make the right choice. Physical violence is never the answer be it in a war situation for it is nothing more than an expression of the dominance of ego. Physical violence never resolve anything it breeds more violence. It's a well known fact that the abused often become abusers themselves...SDS is a case in point. Komal on the other hand has never been abused physically so she goes for mental cruelty and emotional abuse.
