Me too..working on it ...along with Hubby dear...or rather has been given the task of working it out...while I take the glory here in case he cracks it .........😉

her abuse isnt the normal one [ Like the Saxes do t Komal ..snub her coldly ALL the time] but very stark and physical and frightening as it harms her bodily all the time

how can we say she is a nORMAL woman ? Shreds of common sense have prevailed that tell her that dont take DIRECT PANGA u will lose ur life , but thats survival instinct .

Yes she has developed the hide of a rhino ...........but isnt that in itself AWFUL ? Can one imagine what the mind endured to develop this defence mechanism of blocking out pain ?

Just bcoz she has found some defence mechanisms to survive doesnt mean she is as normal as Pratigya .If u note , she lives CONSTANTLY in denial .One who Constantly lives in a defence mechanism state isnt normal .

I actually agree about the fire raging inside her but in another sense . Its unhealthy , with too much abuse gone into stoking it . When it erupts , a tragedy will take place ........someone will DIE . Either she will kill Shakti or she will kill herself .

@ underlined... Such things happen in reality where some women are only "freed" from their tormentor by doing one or the other. It is so sad that women have gone to jail for killing their abusers. Very few win self defense pleas...........They lead a very sad, sad life..

@ bold must disagree yes Kesar is sensible and rational enough to understand her situation hence she tolerates the abuses inflicted upon her but this cannot be compared to a normal individuals tolerance level she is a women who has chosen to blame herself for her sufferings she is in a state of denial where the definition of sensibility and rationality if quite different from what one would expect ! She is not hopeless but not someone who can be labeled normal because in her mind she is the one to blame for her state which is sad but true she has tolerated everything not because of her rational mind but because she hopes for KN to feel some sort of affection for her.... which is why any small amount of hope from his side is more then enough to keep her quiet !! I personally see her as an abused, tormented women who has no options in her mind in turn tolerating everything to survive..hopefully one ready to erupt !
