Ok......am really not a happy bunny today...but I'm writing this with regards to Krishna's behaviour towards Pratigya as shown in the episode today.
Many posts get written here about the daily disintegration of Krishna's character and pretty much up til now I have always felt some individuals have been a bit harsh in dismissing Krishna(his character) and that those qualities that make him endearing to most of us are still in the majority to make Krishna's salvation entirely possible.
However his behaviour today with Pratigya made me wince painfully, because I feel today Baba himself broke that fundamental rule that he himself has been so magnificent at holding dear, and that is keeping important matters concerning a husband and wife relationship between husband and wife.
Today Baba instigated his family members, indeed gave them a free ticket, to boldly abuse and vilify his wife because Baba himself lit the fuse to this fire.
In a blind show of fury arrogance and downright petulance, he trashed and helped others to trash his wife. Rather than continue to have it out in the room, he took it outside and with all the arrogance of a son living under his Dad's roof, proved that he was their son first and foremost and not someone's life partner; a husband to whom a wife has entrusted herself and her life.
Don't get me wrong, Pratigya can be said to have done many things too which, either in ignorance or because she failed to rank her husband's importance correctly, have resulted in hurting Krishna. However two wrongs do not make a right.
Krishna knows only too well how painful a betrayal feels....however he too betrayed Pratigya today and that is inexcusable.
In every small effort that Pratigya made today, be it serving him dinner, or taking out his clothes, Krishna essentially dismissed his wife, and if that wasn't enough he basically tried to give her the message that he didn't actually need her ' he would get food, would even be fed by hand and have broken buttons sewn without needing Pratigya for a second. That dismissive behaviour on the part of a husband is a betrayal for a wife ' in all of those actions he is saying "you are the outsider in this house and I will demonstrate the point to you..."
Baba would never tolerate such treatment ' so why should the woman he professes to love, without whom he can't breathe, have to do so?
Pratigya's bhashans get on my nerves at the best of times, but as a woman I felt Pratigya's pain today so I would like to see her really stretch Krishna on the rack for the way he behaved today, I would like her to unleash a stinging retort for his infantile and tantrum-like behaviour and tell him he can get his Amma to feed him and do everything else too coz Pratigya would rather kiss her own ass before she gives him any more sugar!
Men like this have to be taught a lesson ' if they wanna be mummy's boys then they should never have gotten married and gotten a wife ' and in this case it took Krishna putting a flippin gun to her head just to get wed to her! Moorakh!
Krishna, tumao laaj nahin aayi sale, apni chudail jaisi maa se nivala leke khai jabo beta, tuhaar mehriya tumko joote khilaygi ab beta ' tab sala sudhar jabo!
