One aspect of this serial which I find very sad is that Krishna no matter what kind of a person he is - he always supports his wife in front of others, whether he agrees with her views or not, whereas she never supports him in any way......

actually, i see it this way- krishna supports pratigya because she is right. if krishna is right, pratigya should and i expect her to support him. which is where i think this track is headed. would be interesting to see.

Well, this time I have to agree with Krishna . I think he was doing the right thing and Aman and Prats were wrong but not completely. The thief did deserve to be beat up. If someone's a criminal then they do need to be taught a lesson and a little beating by Krishna was not bad. I do think however that Krishna went a bit overboard and after a few slaps, he should have stopped,, called the police and they should have taken over. Prats and Aman should not have said Krishna was completely wrong, they should have said Dont overdo the beating.

The thing is, we can't trust the corrupt police and judicial system here. Usually in such minor theft cases. the thief is taken to the police station, they take some money from him as rishwat and then he's let go immediatly, free to go on as before. In such cases, ppl think why not teach him a little lesson before he goes scot-free.
And I think Aman was also wrong in saying Krishna should be beaten up. Aman lectures so much but I really cant trust his moral values, coz he did assist a murderer out of jail, Shyamji. (I still think the Prof deliberately killed Angad)

I don't quiet think that Shaymji killed Angad on purpose but Krishna was going way beyond the limit with the beating part of it.Despite Aman trying to explain to him he didn't listen and when Pratigya tried to make him understand he said that she was insulting him. There is a huge difference between trying to make one understand and insulting someone. What Krishna did when Arushi and Pratigya had gone to eat chaat when they were away from each other was insulting not this when she was trying to make him understand that he was wrong.

yes, i know that they are and we need to do something about that. but that does not mean we stoop down to their level and take law in our hands. Strength in character/person is demonstrated by how well they behave in tough times.

so your saying that no matter how wrong your partner is you should support him/her instead of trying to make him/her realize that what they did was wrong?

In my point of view, yes they were wrong. In a countries like Pak & India all this "dont take law into ur hands" looks crap. in our country people hand over the culprits to police & police releases them within few hrs or days. to murder someone is definitely wrong but to beat up a thief like krishna did is not wrong. Why wait for the police. if police & law were so efficient these crimes wouldnt have taken place.

I deffinitely have to disagree with you there my friend since no one has the right to treat someone else so brutally.Hitting someone is also taken as an offence. It may seem like crap to you but what they said is right since nobody has the right to take the law into their hands and beat someone else up for what they did regardless of the location.Although the police may not be that efficient but one should let the law deal with such issues. An instead of having the theif beaten up,like Pratigya said, the person whom the theif tried to steal from can punish him with the help of the law.
Ok.... lets do not touch the culprit, hand him over to the police which will do nothing if the culprit has some relations wid the mighty ones. Let the culprit enjoy his crimes & his life😡. Sorry friend but i dont have any faith in police & system.
I think the best thing to do would've been to ask the victim as to how he would like to deal with the theif rather than just jumping into it.But still if ppl continue to be this agressive and take things into their own hands then I am sure by now many ppl would've died due to being beaten up brutally!

Thanks Shruthi for making this topic. I agree with you. i do not think they were wrong. it is difficult to reason with krishna at times. But that does not mean that pratigya should not show him the correct/better way. hope to see them talk over this tomorrow.
