True. I totally condemn violence. Having said that, i would like to say that Pratigya too has slapped Krishna!!!
( Pratigya slapped him because he was harrassing him. I would have slapped in that position too)
Plus, one thing i never understood is, Pratigya took a pratigya to revenge on Krishna. How come she never acted on it. ( Well that was the biggest mistake of her life. You do noy give into bullying . You fight against it. She was trying to save her family from humiliation)
All she did was, she deprived him of her love(she even offered her body to him during the marital rape scene. ( She did not offer her body in the beginning at all. She did it when she felt she loved him)
another thing i noticed is, how can pratigya decide for kesar. in the FIR withdrawal thing, though jail was truely deserved for shakti and amma, she cant decide that for kesar. kesar is an adult(though dumb), she should 1st decide to help herself, only then others can help. each person has ther own way of handling things, if kesar decides that, then pratigya should respect that.
did pratigya listen to kesar when kesar said, krishna loves you pratigya, you should reciprocate.
so why pressure kesar against withdrawal?!! ( I work with women who have battered syndrome and Kesar is suffering from that sydrome.

Neither pratigya nor krishna are puritan. both have their faults.
you are a lawyer right, then how come you overlook the innumerous other slaps in the seriel.

1 more thing, i have a sense of righteousness, and i live in US. but that does not mean i ill go abt slapping every person who violates my dignity. i dont take law in my hhands.
