foreshadowing is very important in writings. In fact, at least 10 hooks are known to all writers and foreshadowing is one of them. By using this hook, stories get better and more realistic.....giving it a more well rounded story telling otherwise readers/viewers will be lost. Our brains pick on symbols, often working overtime to join the dots....
