I happen to be a KriYa fan and am exreamely happy that they are totally in love with each other and I am sure they'll have happy days ahead but when I think about all this it just makes me wonder whether all this is right,as in Pratigya falling in love with a guy like Krishna who has harrased her upto an extent in the past apart from whatever Angad did,who has tried to force himself on her, has assaulted her and threatened her.He is a changed man now which is very good for their relationship but still does it seem alright for Pratigya to forget all that and fall in love with Krishna? If this happened in real, would a woman actually fall for a husband who has done the above to her and her family?
Would like to see what you guys think about it😊

Shruthi 👏 great topic.

Well in reality things wouldn't have gone this far, meaning the marriage, changing the man the girl hated and eventually falling in love.

But all the praises for CVs for trying to bring a challenging and the most controversial subject of the society to the fore, In order to achieve their goal, they have to rope in the viewers and keep their interest alive through out the entire duration of the show.

They have not only propagated their mission successfully, but also showed, by placing KriYa love track so intelligently in between to make this show commercially viable that will encourage other media outlets to show similar social causes without fearing the financial fall out.

So this show has not only brought many social evils to the fore but has also entertained viewers belonging to all walks of life, while delivering their message successfully Just my POV.

True,it is very entertaining and has managed to throw light on important social issues like the harrassment of women but do you feel that falling in love with that guy would ever be possible in real life?

You ask the question 'does it feel right for Pratigya to forget all that and fall in love?'....She spent months with this guy, and she knows him like no one else has. This is true to life, that you only know someone when you live with them. She saw beyond his tough exterior, beyond the gundagiri he showed the world. She also saw his environment. Love happened because she knew where it mattered he was a decent guy, a genuine person who meant every word he said. That he loved her and always will.

As to forgetting, well the most horrible and traumatic experience of her life that she went through, she wrongly attributed it to him. When she found out it wasn't him....all the other things she saw while married to him made sense, showed he is genuine, that was his true self. Now she can freely give herself permission to love this guy because he didn't do what she thought he did. The rest? the saying all's fair in love and way is applicable, he just did them in his own way which very intense and passionate. We are all slaves to our genetics.......we have seen his family and know their feelings run on the surface and don't hesitate to show it. He did everything with the ultimate aim of marrying her. Nothing more and nothing less.
In the show we saw krishna going through redemption. For his forceful nature, he had to abstein and forgo her love for a while. For the slap he gave her, he immediately tried to cut his own hand while disgust filled him....... Most importantly, Pratigya herself forgave him. His final redemption was when he left after the court case. He did something contrary to his character. Rather than retaliating violently (many people expected that, encouraged by that promo) he left, to cool down and to think through things. See, finally love has beaten him and he hasn't the energy to even shout or scream. This was the final proof, Pratigya needed, and she gave her heart whole heartedly to him. She knew he was worthy, he was someone she could be proud of to call husband. The venom sucking, was the ultimate if you like. His life meant nothing in the face of hers.
Off course the above is all fiction and for a character with shades of grey, the viewers/readers need to see the character development to find it all believable. We have seen this, it is why majority are rooting for the Kriya relationship.
As for real life, well stranger things do happen. A loving husband can strike a wife and vice versa. It is upto the individuals how they progess onwards. Many people fight to hold on to their marriage, regardless of the provocation. And they are successful. Humans have a huge capcacity to forgive and forget, to a point. We also have finely honed survival skills, the old 'fight or flee' genes which is the true test in these kind of relationships.
The Q you ask is very subjective, can only be answered by individuals in those relationships.😊

agree with u to some extend...........i know a girl who was married off to america and only after reaching there she found out the truth that he had been lying to her about his job there and when she questioned him he tortured her all day and night and then when she wanted to work so that she could earn extra money he arranged a sweeper's job at his office for her.........but as fortune would have it, her talent in programming got the attention of some and she was given an opportunity to prove herself and was given a job with high status than her husband.........mad with jealousy and hurt ego he resumed his beatings and even burned her using cigarettes......fed up she came back to india and her family filed a divorce against him..........during the hearings he was unusually quiet and at the third and last hearing he broke down before the court and pleaded her not to leave him as he had realised he can't live without him.......and u won't believe she fell in love with that man then n there and she refused to give divorce...........this happened 7 years ago and now they have 2 kids and r enjoying their life like anything..............love just happens, and when it happens u don't see anything else...............there r numerous examples like this...........

shruti i don't feel that this could b possible in real life.in reality evry grl would hate a guy like krishna, but it's a show n d way krishna's character is delineated it's very hard 2 belive that a guy whio have no respect 4 women loves his wife madly.WHEN U LOVE SOMEONE U ALSO RESPECTS THAT PERSON BUT KRISHNA IS NOT THAT TYPE,I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHEN 1 PERSON HAVE NO RESPECT 4 D PERSON HE LOVES THAN HOW CAN IT B LOVE,BUT THIS IS WHAT CV'S R SHOWING,STRANGE NA😆😆
