I loved the way you have analyzed this unique love story, you have expressed their emotional journey so adequately and so beautifully.

I personally find this love story extremely unique because it forced a man to love one who refused to even believe in the fact that such a thing as love existed, and not only did he love but without even realizing it he began to change for that love. I remembered how confidently Krishna stated that no matter what happened he would never change for anyone but little did he know that at the moment he stood up for his wife in front of his parents a gradual change in his behavior and thinking had already begun. He made mistakes but it was expected from his personality type, he was stubborn, obsessive, possessive, and believed that the women he loved must love him unfortunately his assumption shattered the night of his marraige when he saw a women stand up to him for the first time. Krishna though refused to give up and even though he made several mistakes along the way he began to understand the meaning of love a little better, and eventually he also understood the importance of listening to his wife's POV and started to make decisions while keeping her feelings in mind. Krishna proved he loved her when he chose to question her alone and support her in front of his family members, but he is still to portray his comprehension of the true meaning of love. He is confused, and in a state of shock after learning the truth, once he overcomes his doubts and is ready to accept his love once again his transformation will begin.

Pratigya is a bit different while Krishna had to learn the meaning of love and the proper way of portraying it (which is something he has not learned yet), prats had to overcome her misunderstandings, and hatred in order to love Krishna. I love how this love story has moved forward at a gradual pace it makes it much more realistic. Prats began with hatred, which turned to confusion when she learned the reason behind her marriage and hatred was non existent. It was just perfect how they showed her realizing that she could no longer hate him but at the same time she could not love him either because he had made many mistakes which could not be forgiven so easily. It was nice to see her make an effort to make her marraige work by suggesting friendship because understanding your partner and creating trust is the base of any relationship. She began to talk to him more freely and began seeing the real Krishna as well as his love for her. Recently when he supported her after learning the truth all of her doubts about his love were cleared and her feelings for him have gradually transformed in to love but it will take time before it is as intense as Krishna's since they are her newly found feelings. But, once she accepts and is ready to portray her feelings for him then no one will be able to compete with this couple not that they are any less now 😉😆

Mushi, Gees, Saachee, Binny, Limits, Nanna, Joey - Thank you all very much! 😃

I love discussing this show because it is really unique!

In spite of the high level of tension they maintain, and all the uncertainty they put us through, Pratigya is a very positive show at its core. They may not tell a straight-forward or simple tale, they might take a torturous route, but at the end they want to get the basics right.

Love AND Truth will/ must triumph - One without the other is incomplete.

And when one is waiting for both Love and Truth to triumph, it can be a long and sometimes hopeless-seeming wait. One might be tempted to just go for one or the other and cut one's losses. But luckily the character Pratigya has just the sort of determination, patience and belief to aspire for and wait for both. 😃

This (as far as now! Godkeep!) is a very un-cynical show which has not just gone about sacrificing the integrity of its characters for TRPs. They have always maintained the purity of their basic message/narrative and a realistic graph for their characters. All the characters behave in exactly the way you would expect them to move, rather than as narrative parrots who will do anything just to move the story forward.

This is why Prats was so slow with her trust and affections, because she is somebody who will only be affected by kindness and love and who simply CANNOT respond to threats and coercion. There is something in her that steels-up at force and intimidation and something that just melts at affection, kindness and love. Krishna who all his life has only learnt to acquire by intimidation has found a rare person who will not give an inch at gun-point but at a smile. Who will remain untouched by threats of rape but has been totally won over by abstinence and sacrifice. Really, it is a lovely story. I feel that, any one trying to see this story only from one character's POV is doing the story as well as themselves as a viewer a great injustice by not allowing themselves to enjoy it wholly.

Binny,
I have been waiting to respond to this post which I liked very much. Yes, the most exciting aspect of this show has been Krishna's transformation ( as you say he will continue to find himself an evolve). Pratigya's by comparision has been a more low key development because she had all those qualities to begin with, but Krishna and his persistence have now forced her to include him in her circle of love. But again, Krishna being Krishna, he will not be content till he is in a league of
one, right at the core of her heart. 😳😆
Should be fantastic to see it all come about.
😃

Dyehard 😊

Beautifully expressed and I completely agree.

The best part about prats character is that she always focuses on the larger picture she observed the things Krishna did for her but never forgot the things he had done and was capable of doing to her as well as to others. Through prats character this show has portrayed the importance of achieving love in the correct manner. Prats has succeeded in showing the obsessive, possessive Krishna that his theory of love is completely incorrect love is not something he can snatch nor can he force her to love him. It has become obvious by his gradual behavioral changes that he has comprehended the concept that love can only be achieved through kindness, understanding, sacrifice, and thinking about your partners needs before your own. Pratigya has noticed these changes in her husband she has finally been able to differentiate between his obsessiveness and love for her forcing her to grow deeper feelings for him. And yes looking at this story from both of the characters POV's is the key to truly appreciating this unique love story. 😃

Hi Binny,

Fully agreed to what you have added to such a beautiful post by Dyehard. Important though that Pratigya's feelings are yet to be felt by Krishna. He probably is still under the impression that She hasn't changed completely. Lets see how these two react when krishna returns.
