Don't worry I'm in the same century as you ๐Ÿ˜† That is so sweet your husband respects you and you do this on your own, I just get annoyed when women are forced to do these things.

I have no problem with serving the husband that's fine but i have seen so many men disrespect their wives and never appreciate their hard work, I always feel bad for them because they never say a word against them and keep on doing their work

ok, n m just curious
if 'aap' signifies respect, then doesn't a wife deserve to be respected? n Krishna stopped addressing Prats as 'aap' after marriage, so what does that signify?

Well it doesnt really matter Aap or Tum, so I voted No, but I've generally that in completely arranged marriages, where the couple dont know each other from before, the wife tends to call her husband Aap. In cases of love marriage, where a comfort level has already been reached, she calls him Tum... but to each her own.... sometimes the elders of the family also ask the girl to say Aap.
But........ since we were talking about Krish and Prats, I think its wrong she calls him TUM, the reason being that she calls EVERYBODY AAP, and herself HUM, so why not show him the same respect?

Divya I doubt if Krishna ever respected her as he says he does whatever he wants to and he showed how much he respected her when he said after marriage she's my property now so why should i respect her ๐Ÿ˜•
