Krishna, Krishna, Krishna! What an inspired character! What an inspired situation! I have rarely felt the extraordinarily poignant 'vidambana' of any fictional character as much as his. It is just awesomely subtle. 👏
Krishna ne ek galti ki…pyaar karne ki…aur who bhi pratigya jaisi ladki se. That has affected his whole life and outlook, made him question his lifestyle, his value-system, his own basic character. Bohut difficult journey hai uske liye. It would be for anyone. To have to reassess all your most fundamental beliefs and find them wanting. And he has to do it in an environment without support from any quarter. He is torn between the loves of his life. Between loyalty and his inherent sense of justice. He has neither the love of the person whose love has caused these paradigm shifts in his psyche nor the real backing of a most beloved father who has always been his hero. He has to now journey into the depths of his own character. And the most important aspect is that he has to make this journey virtually supportless. This journey has to be made purely on instinct, gut and character. This journey from Krishna son of Sajjan Singh to Krishna the man, has to be made entirely based on his own gut-belief that it is a worthy one, and an inevitable one. No carrot is dangling at the other end of the road; he has not even been promised Pratigya's love. His has to be the journey of pure love, a journey for its own sake.
