re the leaving the house. something had to give or the track was stagnating.

i understand ur reason for being upset but the way i see it this was the exact situation that krishna wanted to avoid when he lied about the pregnancy. today he finally lost his Alpha male status in the singh household. it is now in the open.

the alpha male thing is not only an ego thing but a key survival requirement in his world.

the way I see it he had only 1 choice. when in battle pick a side.

it was either his family or his marriage. he picked the later because again it was a survival issue. not a respect or love issue. all that is still there. when u are given a choice b/w the air u breathe or the support of ur family. you pick the former. it will help u survive. the family is going no where. it is a practical pick not an emotional or idealistic one.

i think this is necessary to show a maturity in his character and a maturity in their relationship.

his move in a way was related to his self respect because his dad said that he was not capable of managing his resp and finances without his fathers riches and support. many people have treated and called him a loafer in disrespect but this time it hit home. it was an ego thing b/w him and his dad. that is why he left. he wants to make it on his own. so lets see how the CV's progress this track. I am not so upset at his choice. I think the fact that he is illiterate does not bother me as much (as it was not his decision) but the fact that he has no livelihood bothers me (he asked his dad for money to go on his honeymoon - did not like that)

i bet the prof thinks krishna will be give him ransom but without daddy's money (thks to his beti) that will not happen. what will he do then?

I agree with u , its only leaving parents who loved him like crazy for that gal who did nothing short of spitting in his face till now is what bothered me as a viewer . To become so crazy for a girl that u dump ur parents is not right .Hell , they loved him so much that they spoilt him rotten, indulged his every whim . We owe something to that blood bond .

The only person I felt extremely bad for is Amma . Her position is very sad .........Constantly for Krishnas mistakes , SS has hit her . And Krishna made a LOT of them .

Regarding Pratigya and her ego spree she is another Sajjan Singh in the guise of a sari , bas . She has terrific ego and I wudnt want to even speak abt it .

re his mom. agree it was sad she and his fly love him horribly inspite of his recent behaviour.

but his mom's desire or pleas have never influenced his actions UNLESS THEY WERE ACCOMPANIED BY SS VOCAL SUPPORT. even today after mom pleaded he looked at ss. his reaction - the smirk - was what made him leave.

3 alphas cannot survive in a pack. 1 leads - two follows. that is the only way it will work. shakti always follows. until now krish always followed because he never challenged his father's commands and so in reciprocation his father indulged him.

however today he challenged it. that is not a working scenario in this pack. so one of them had to leave. it was not his house. he left. it will always be his home. it is just not his house anymore. he will have to maintain bonds with his family from his own house and earn his dad's respect AGAIN by proving his sustained independence. nothing else will get him his lost respect with his dad. nothing else.

he picked an independent woman, his mistake, now he has to live with the consequences. fair is fair.
