well, it's good to read this psychological analysis..i take krishna as he is and don't try to find justifications as to WHY he is the way he is..that way i'll be trying to justify his "wrong" deeds which is unfair...if we analyze every character this way then komal, sajjan singh , shakti and krishna's mom's behavior is also justified...komal has been brought up in that environment, she talks in a certain way n her behavior can be attributed to her upbringing...her situation is more or less like pratigya...therez nothing tht she likes abt her marriage, her in laws or husband...under these circumstances, is it okay to say that her behavior towards her in laws is right? 😕

similarly sajjan singh and shakti..shakti is in unwanted relationship with his wife..

there are a few things abt this serial which are detestable and repulsive..one of them is that krishna, shakti , komal "like" it when they see their mom being kicked around, slapped and abused ! 😲 they never raised any objection and they think it's alright since women are supposed to be treated this way ! if ur dad slaps ur mom or beats her in front of u , what will u do? how will u feel? krishna supported pratigya and saved her a lot of times frm his family's fury but did he feel the same for his mom or bhabhi? who r constantly being abused in the same house? why? lets not try to justify domestic violence , physical or emotional abuse bec. my dears, you wud NEVER wanna be in Pratigya or Kesar's shoes...

u can't say tht till the time a person slaps his wife, only then it's termed as domestic violence...emotional abuse is even worse than physical abuse..

therez nothing wrong if krishna wants to consummate his marriage...it gives a new dimension to a husband wife relationship..BUT forcing ur partner into a physical relationship is nothing but marital rape..whether it's the first time or after 10 yrs of marriage..and it's inhuman...i'm glad krishna stayed in his limits and respected pratigya's wish and he continues to do that in future...

all is well , everyone is free to have their opinions, like krishna, support him..he's a complex character with different shades..but lets have the guts to call spade a spade..what is wrong is wrong..pratigya and krishna both have their limitations and they have their plus points also...

plz don't think i'm blaming anyone here..nor do i wanna start a fight..i was trying to put forward my opinion , if any member has a problem then i won't do it in future.. 😊

Its like I was reviewing for Psych....hehe.
You brought in a lot of different aspects of psychology to analyze his various behaviourisms.
You see there are so many different theories to explain the cause of behaviour/actions....I like some of Freud's theories....Id, Ego, Superego is my favourite one as I think its very justifiable and one can personally sorta relate to it.
Also, I'd mention, there are other personality development theories....like that of Kohlberg, Jean Piaget, and Erikson which nicely fit in to explain if a certain stage has not been taken place properly which may influence the person later in life. For instance, in Krishna's case, the preconventional level of Kohlberg's theory has got to do alot with how Krishna has turned out and how he views morals, society, himself, family etc. and responds to these institiutions according to the way he has "learnt" to behave.
Just to give a brief note on the preconventional level: it basically involves punishment and obedience orientations. The child learns the basis on which right/wrong are punished and the basis on which something is rewarded for. So, since he has always seen SS beating his wife for small things such as less salt/spices in dinner or not getting him some tea. This then became the "norm" for Krishna....he saw that this is how women are supposed to be treated.....ie. if they dont provide you good food, don't obey you, then you're supposed to raise your hand and whip them. Now, as a child, he might have been scolded for crying if he got emotional from his brother or father and that behaviour would've been labelled as being "sissy". But, if he didn't cry for e.g. if he sees his mom getting hurt and acts like a "man", then he'd be praised by his dad...so, being rewarded for such behaviour would set up the guidelines for him that "being manly gets you the reward and women aren't a thing to pity on".
Anyways, that was just an example that how the development of this pre conventional stage must have been responsible for what he thinks is right or wrong now and where his morals lie.
Now, you mentioned the different forms of agression, well that was something new for me...but pretty much a self explanatory and easy concept....makes sense. :P
Samira, thanks for such a lovely post 👏👏👏....am sure we all learned a thing or two from your thread. =) ⭐️

👏👏👏 *standing ovation!* Ania that was mind blowing! 👏 And i agree completely with the other theories your incorporated! Rewards whether it is material or verbal is another major factory in Krishna's case. Still speechless man! Your awesome as always!

I have already written that this is no justification, it is merely a character analysis. No where in my thread did I say, Krishna slapped Pratigya because of this and therefore he is right and she is wrong. What he has done and is doing is wrong! All i am saying is that there is always a reason behind a certain behavior and that was the prime purpose of my analysis. Just to bring some psychology into this. Once again i am going to have to disagree with your point about Komal, Shakti, SS, etc. Reason behind that is, you once again mentioned the word 'justified'. Whereas i have pointed out that this is 'not' a justification. Just like many posts have been about the abuse and violation of morals, ethics and human rights. Similarly i am making a post on the psychological element. Eg Krishna is wrong because he hurt pratigya and it is morally wrong to raise your hand against a woman. That's me and you speaking in a moral and ethical bases. But this thread, is where i say, 'Krishna's upbringing and lack of education may contribute to why his mentality towards woman is of such.' No where am i saying that his right or wrong.

similarly sajjan singh and shakti..shakti is in unwanted relationship with his wife..

Okay yes it's repulsive to see the women being mentally and physically abused. But this is where psychology comes into play m'dear 😉. Krishna has been brought up in such an environment where he has constantly seen his mother being hurt and abused. That has left an impact on him, mentally. Such impacts are positive and some are negative. Some children with the positive impact would grow up hating the thought of violence. But some children with the positive impact will be more violent in nature because of the way they grew up. This is not me speaking love, this is psychology and criminology speaking. And dear i'd appreciate it if you don't bring up my personal family in this as an example. It's obvious my post wasn't clear enough. My situation and Krishna's situation is worlds apart! If someone see's there mother being abused from a young age, then it depends on them in how they react. Everyone reacts differently, so you cannot generalize that everyone will react the same way. 'let's not try to justify domestic violence' ? Who is justifying domestic violence? 😕 When did i say what krishna is doing is right? or what shakti or etc is doing? I am just pointing out that aggression is a personality trait and people with such traits have a more violent nature. That's it!

u can't say tht till the time a person slaps his wife, only then it's termed as domestic violence...emotional abuse is even worse than physical abuse..

When did i specify that physical abuse is merely domestic violence? I am aware that emotional, mental and verbal abuse is also a part of it.

Gr8 analysis of the character even I tried to analize Krishna'character in my earlier posts especially to find answers to why Krishna's metallity is like this & reasoning but everyone is in so much awe of Arhaan's acting his character that nobody really puts light on his behavioural pattern... but people just debate on wouldn't Krishna feel bad if Pratigya refuses him like that....but nobody really cares why Krishna is so aggressive, ill-bahaved & demanding but your scientific explaination is very jusitfiable.... its logical...gr8 effort👏

Thank you! 😳😃 Yes that's why I made this post to bring some light into why he is so aggressive, ill-behaved and demanding. By the way, are you talking to Priti in the start of your sentence? 😆

Hum ko sirf angad se pyar hai! Hum ko sirf angad se pyar hai! Keh rahi hai dil ke bekhudi bas arjun rampal ke intezaar hai! ..... 'forgot the rest' and knowing me if i had to sing for every one i liked, i'd be typing a whole page!
oooo i have one! Mera Maan! Kyu tumhe chahe, Mera MAAN! (Geet gaya tel lene 😉)

🤣 🤣 Man Sammy you too with your Hunks! 🤣
For Krishna: To mera janu hai to mera dilbar hai! Meri prem kahani ka tu hero hai! 😉
