Chapter-17

Shyam went inside the room upto Arushi and asked her what happened to her and how was she there. For 5 minuutes Arushi spoke no word. Then she sat on the bed and told hum..hum Roli didi ke ghar pe the.

Shyam and naina together asked roli??

Arushi: haan wo pratigya didi ne humen roli didi ke ghar chor dia tha aur unhon ne humen itni air tak aik kamre main band kar ke rakha.

Shyam : kya??

Krishna made pratigya sit on the bed. He placed his arms on her shoulders and came closer to her. He was about to hug her when he felt a tear of her on his hand. He asked her what happened to her. Pratigya didn't say a word. Krishna shook her tightly from her shoulders then she just stood up. She thought that it won't be better to hide anything from Krishna. He does have the right to everything. After all it was related to his life.

Pratigya took a deep breathe and then turned towards Krishna and told him that she wanted to talk to him something really serious. Krishna agrees and asks her to tell what happened.

Pratigya tells him everything about how Arushi fell for him and how she wanted to marry him. She was is love with him and wished to marry him. But when she came to know it she decided that for my younger sister's future she should sacrifice her love. Later on she came to know that Arushi's mental condition and thought that how could she let marry Krishna a girl who had a paralyzed brain. So she stopped this marriage by changing the bride. She told him that his whole family knew that he was going to be married to Arushi. She told then how she changed the bride:

She and Arushi both went to parlour. On the way, she asked the driver to take them to her frnds house that's roli. Pratigya took Arushi in. Arushi was continuously asking whats happening but she gave no reply just dragged her in with her hand. She had informed roli earlier. She just took her in and locked her in a room. Then pratigya herself went to the parlour. She covered her face with the pallu all time long.

Krishna was shocked to hear everything. Now pratigya was tensed about how will Krishna's family react.

Pratigya told to him that one reason of telling it all to him was that he should atleats no it when his family would question her. Pratigya was really scared now. Krishna assured her that he won't let anyone harm her. He'll tell them that what u have done is only because of saving this family. He told that he'll tell them about arushi's mental condition. Pratigya stopped in him between and told him not to tell anyone about Arushi.

Krishna: but.. they'll blame you then how will they every know about the truth behind this marriage.

Pratigya: let them. Let them. But I don't want them to know about Arushi. If they know it they'll make rude remarks on her and she is my sister how will I dare to hear such things about her. Krishna tried to console her and told her that he is with her and will never let anything wrong happen with her nor with her family.

Arushi told the same thing to her family as well that how Pratigya took her to roli and locked her inside. They were shocked. Then naina ji thought to herself that the girl she saw coming from there was not Pratigya. She thought that it must be pratigya but but she was not. She couldn't see her face there due to darkness.
