Chapter-19

Krishna brought a glass of water fo rher. She was really scard. Krishna tried to assure her and said that he will not let anyone say anything bad to her. He caught pratigya's hand and took her down stairs. Krishna's ater for pratigya. He came inside the room and offered it to pratigya. Krishna then asked her to come down with her but pratigya refused. She said that she was really scared now to go down. Krishna assured her that he is with her till the day he doesn't die. He assured her that he mum, seeta was sitting on the sofa placing both her hands on her head. Krishna's father and Brother was also sitting quietly waiting for them. Krishna and pratigya came down upto them. Seeta saw them and just suddenly in a loud voice told: lejiye, agai humaari maharani ji. Krishna was angry at her mother's behaviour. But pratigya stood their quietly. His father asked seeta to keep her mouth zipped and let him talk to Krishna. Raj came to Krishna and told him--- Beta, hum tumhaare pita hain. Hum samajh sakte hain tumhaari mushkilen tumhaari pareshaania. Hum tumhaare dushman nahi hain. Humen tum batao akhir kya waja rahi ke ye sab.. mera matlab tumne Pratigya se shaadi karli. Krishna in soft and appealing manner told that--- Papa humaari koi bht bari majboori hai ke hum apko kuch bata nae sakte. Lekin hum apko itni cheez zaroor bata na chahen g eke ap sab apne dil main se ye khayal nikal den ke Pratigya yahan kisi ghalat maksad ke liye ayi hai. Ap sab bus itna samajh lejiye ke Pratigya ne iss ghar ka kabhi bura nahi chaha aur iss shaadi ke peeche bhi bht bara kaaran rah chukka hai. Bus iss se aage main ap logon ko aur kuch nae bata sakta.

Raj was understanding Krishna's feelings and so he told --- Theek hai beta. Humen tum pe bharosa hai. Hum jaante hain ke tum ab bache nahi rahe. Lekin tum humaare bte ho iss liye. Saying this raj went to his room and amman went to his room. Seeta came to Krishna. Pratigya caught krishna's shirt tightly and was trying to hide herself behind Krishna as she was really scared of Seeta and her red burning eyes in wrath. She told to Krishna and Pratigya--- ye jo tum ne kia hai na hum sab jaante hain ke ye iss aurat ki chaal hai. Hum jaante hain ye humaare ghar ko barbaad karma chahti hai. Humaare paise ke upper is ski nazar hai aur iss ne tumhaare ankhon pe patti band di hai. Krishna--- Ap ko iss cheez ki fikar karne ki koi zaroorat nai hai. Ap ka paisa ap apne paas hi rakhen. Humen us ski koi zaroorat nae hai. Dhaanne waad ( thank you ). Saying this Krishna asked Pratigya to come up in the room with him and they both went in their room.

Arushi was sitting inside her room like a statue. Naina ji brought the lunch for her inside her room. She went upto Arushi and sat beside her. She told to Arushi --- Arushi beta hum khana lae hain khana khaalo. Arusho--- are mummy ap humaare liye khana yahan kyoun le aye? Hum bahar ake ap sab ke saath kha lete. Naina ji--- nae beta. Tumhaari tabiyat theek nae hai. Arushi--- kyoun humaari tabiyat ko kya hua. A puss shaadi waali baat ko bhuul jaen. Jo hua so hua. Aur kahte hain na jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai. But naina ji was still very angry at what Pratigya did not realizing what she was going to do with Krishna's life. Arushi went out to the dining table.

Pratigya went into the kitchen thinking that its not good to sit like a statue in the room but she was scared too. She went inside the kitchen and saw no one there except for a servant cutting some vegetables. She took a breathe and went inside. She told to the servant that let her cut those vegetables. First the servant stared at Pratigya for five minutes and then just gave the knife to her. Pratigya started cutting the vegetables when seeta came to the kitchen and saw her. She shouted loudly--- oho!! Madam ji ko kaam karma bhi ata hai. Pratigya suddenly heart her voice and mistakenly pressed the knife over her finger and it got cut. Seeta was scolding her and Pratigya's tears were rolling down her eyes with pain and she was also very frightened. Seeta just said some rubbish things to her and left. Pratigya's finger was bleeding badly as it was a deep cut. She ran towards her room. She went inside her room and sat beside the bed and was crying in pain. Krishna was taking out some clothes from his cupboard. He saw her and rushed towards her. He got very worried. He just ran and brought the first aid box. He cleaned the finger first with Dettol and then bandaged it. Pratigya was still weeping in pain. He was so sensitive towards Pratigya that he hugged her tightly as he couldn't see Pratigya weeping in Pain. He said to Pratigya--- Please dn't cry dear. I can't see u in pain and tears in ur eyes. Pratigya was feeling comfortable in Krishna's embrace.
