She should have asked Shaheer to play Ashok since he has done such roles and he does have the aura of a King or Mata selected Adnan bcos history says Ashok wasn't good looking looking.
I dun think any kings would have been good looking
. All are buddhos with a big tummy
Shaheer have soft and cute looks...I doubt if those cruelty and ruthless part thru his facial expressions would have come out well.I think RT would have been a good choice...saw some episodes of JA...and the ruthless and cruelty part was played well by him.Still I think a good director plays an important part in bringing up the nuances of acting in a actor...and Ravi sir was the best example. Ashok according to history might not be handsome but I find Adnan handsomeOriginally posted by: Salutethearmy

After watching the whole show, till now, I can say what's wrong with it. It took me some time to get over the cringe moments but here they go:
1. Copying and referencing other shows or movies.
2. The hindi/Sanskrit feels more similar to modern-day hindi.
3. Director could have been more strict and demanding.
4. More training, workout and workshops for ML, instead of him reviving his previous show in certain scenes. Did the director/producer want to cash on that, the nostalgia? If yes, that's a minus point. Also, did I detect a bgm similar to KA there?? 🙄
5. The funny scenes feel forced.
6. The costumes.
Goes without saying regarding the accuracy of the show or should I point it out too?
The director, actor and also the audience have their own vision. But if the director is good, so does the actor perform well, if not, my heart can go on.

Not everyone Chandragupta Maurya, Prithviraj Chauhan, Viramdeva, Vikramaditya are considered really handsome kings

This whole young gen is misfit 😂🤣 and Devi was very sweet girl and here they are trying to make her a vamp 😒😕😡
Adnan saying dialogues sounds like an English medium guy trying to say shuddh Hindi 😒🤣😂
i really was looking forward to this. I felt actors ko enough time nahi diya rangu ne inorder to fill his timeslot.Originally posted by: Yashikha16

I actually thought ashoka will be a weekend show. Which would have given them enough time to retake and edit. Ab they will serve maggie noodles 😮💨
