I have watched Jodha Akbar. From my experience I can tell you Ekta is not following the history she just taken the characters names and will make a clown of great Ashoka. Ashoka never left wars or violence because he fell In love neither he was devoid of parents love. It's just Ekta's version to justify Princess role Ashoka's life which was not true. In Jodha Akbar Ekta showed Jalal was dehshat before he met Jodha later she changed him into insaan in her love.

Ashoka was indeed devoid of his father's love. It's actually historically accurate. Ashok had coarse skin and unpleasing appearance so Bindusara neglected him. His skills made Sushima insecure and Bindusara was threatened by him so he sent him to supress a rebellion at Taxila but without w weapons so he could perish there

I think the same and I'm not even Indian bro 😂. Watched the whole of Katha Ankahee online as we aren't subscriber to few Indian channels here. I was pleasantly surprised with KA's promo of the ONS that I thought I'll watch and thought it wouldn't happen as other Indian shows, but it did and that was the turning point for me to keep me watching till the end. And thank goodness it wasn't an Ekta's show, else, she'd ruin the Indian version of Binbir Gece//1001 Nights and "dhoom tananana-nified" it for as long as 1000 episodes!

" Meri Aashiqui tum se hi"... It started so beautifully at the end it was horrible

The pregnant " woh" was sleeping with ML that too.without marriage , , ( pregnant from dead villian) that " pregnancy lasted like eternal at the end at birth " still born"

1001 night Turkish drama was beautiful, KA was a typical Indian version

Adnaan must have watched padmavat and bahubali before taking up this role this Ashoka seemed to be perfect mixture of both characters. Bahubali look wise and alauddin Khilji expression wise

He had love story with his fourth wife Asandhimitra not Karuwaki. In fact he loved only himself and jumped from woman to woman but respected and loved only Asandhimitra

Remember guys when Ashoka married Karuwaki, he was already a father of a son and a daughter 🤣😂 how can this be a love story, more like a cheater justified only because polygamy was legally and socially allowed in that era 🤣

MATSH aired here but, it didn't appeal to me after a while. And yup, KA surpassed every show on air in India in 2023 at least according to me. Really, the pregnant card again?! Aghhh... Tell Ekta it's time to move on.

If he were a lover boy, he would be content with Devi and happy with his children Mahendra and Sanghamitra, he wasn't a lover boy. First three Mauryan Emperors were not lover boys at all. They had many women in their life but their chief queen was always one who controlled his harem.
