Hi All,

It was great once again reading your feedback. Here are my replies:

1. Mahendra tyring to make deal with Selva:

I understand your anger/disappointment when Mahendra tries to make that deal. You will see that Usmaan sir will share your feelings in the next episode. Also that will put this scene in perspective.

2. Minister's track

A scene with Naveen Tripathi in next episode will explain things. As for now, we know that Jagat Tripathi was a corrupt minister as we learn in that Dubai scene with Ansari, but at the same time he was posing clean by calling in UNODC conference. He is hands in glove with drug smugglers, and deals with them through his brother Naveen Tripathi. Naveen Tripathi of course has ambitions of his own and is jealous of Jagat Tripathi, because he feels he does all the work and his minister brother gets all the money and power as we saw in his scene with Raja.

We climax the episode with the news of Naveen Tripathi having killed Jagat Tripathi. This brings Brinda to conclusion that JAgat Tripathi was killed because he was an honest Minister trying to fight drug smugglers (she of course does not know yet that he was corrupt). And it creates panic situation for Ansari who was hoping to find an amicable and diplomatic way of getting money out of Minister. But with Minister being dead that has become difficult for Ansari and he runs the risk of getting entangled in this assassination although he had nothing to do with it. The money belongs to Abdal Fateh(Musa's boss), the Nigerian who controls business from Dubai. Ansari has to get that money out to prove his mettle to Abdal Fateh who will then allow Ansari to shift his base to Dubai. (Refer to scene in episode 5)

Now Pre-Cap

For Mahi-Da fans. Its only Mahendra who is going to Delhi. Not Kartik and Mahendra 😊

But Mahindra is a chauvinist. A chauvinist is a person who feelsthat girls should stay at home and do household work instead of working(as in getting a job). And Mahindra did say "Crime sirf mardo ki field hain". However, his heart is at it's right place and we will see his transformation from a chauvinist to one who accepts women in the latter episodes.

all in all, i liked the epi on sunday.. it might not be the pacy episode we were getting used to so far, but it was good indeed building the story pretty well. a lot of things happened that could bear long term consequences:

-Ansari moved his adda from Queen's bar
-Tripathi was killed
-Brinda noted the political connection of Raja

~~~~~~
as a whole:
i feel this epi was largely dedicated to social implications of drug crime.. what kartik, brinda and mahendra saw was the side effects of drug dealing on the people who are involved in it. i especially liked the kartik's case, there contra-banding drugs was not a choice but an obligation forced by people who were supposed to protect u. kartik was brilliant in both the scenes but i'll say more about him in respective AT.
then with mahi's scene the story added another dimension- of family of the drug dealers who get caught. who can blame if their children grow up with a feeling of hatred against people like mahi, and are vulnerable to world of crime! the way mahi explained it to the boy was very good. i expected him to be very angry at the boy but looks like he's good with kids.. 😊
and agree to debo, he was Not Out according to rules, however there's no rules in gully cricket..! 😛
anuj used that boy as his informer knowing pretty well that he was using it to nurture his drug habits, but what else he could do? even if unethical, i don't think he was guilty here, the boy would have most probably found other means to finance his addiction.
~~~~~~
now what i liked in epi 6:-

Precap: it had to be my most favorite, mahi going to delhi, WOW!! 😆 reminded me of a song from early 90s "Tu na aaya to hum chale aaye.." 😆 waiting eagerly to see more of their confrontation especially after the way mahi was scolded by usmaan sir, he'd not be too happy to see sir's favorite officer! 😛
btw, usmaan don't know abt what brinda is doing yet so why does he send mahi to delhi? will he come to know abt brinda's daredevil acts and send him to help her? 😛

usmaan's expressions when he went to car servicing center and the bar, (really cool!) and when he saw those pics of kartik-mahendra. no wonder he was angry at their juvenile act! but they can still keep trying to trace other addas of ansari like Night City so not everything is lost yet!

lastly but for me the highlight of the epi, was the case of that 19-year-old boy kartik caught. very well written and equally well performed! my heart felt for kartik when he was sharing his dilemma with vidya later..

~~~~~~
brinda was very quiet in most of the scenes today and especially when anuj was talking to that informer. wished to listen to her analyses more, though that shows she's a good listener too. 😛
and lastly, the last week promo had unmistakable parallels with Promod Mahajan case of a few years back, but epi and then precap has got me surprised with addition of Tripathi's son as well.. never thought of Mahajan case from this perspective.. 😲
My little questions, hope u guys could help me: 😳
was it ever mentioned that mahendra smokes? then why he had that lighter/matches with him when he set fire to selva's drugs? 😕
the person playing babloo tyagi aka ghora aka wakil is the one who plays apoorva's bong brother in Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo (Sab TV)?
OMG, i really wrote down an essay here!!! thnx to those few who managed thru it! 😆 and sorry to those who got bored and fell asleep!! 🥱 😛
Wohooo Rapi.. I've read all of it!!😃 Wow that means I'm still not sleepy!🤣 Jokes apart. Loved your analysis. 👏👏
As far, I know Mahindra doesn't smoke. (I think...🤔??!!)
Other question's answer, sorry I don't know.😳
And lastly, I've question for you. The mahajan case??!! Little explaination on this please
.😳
