A/N: Finally manged to wrote another MahiDa One-Shot Scene 'Vaibhav is Back' (sorry guys, couldn't think of any other title😳). I've to apologise in advance as it's really not good.. It didn't turned out the way I thought it will.😭😭 I hope you'll enjoy it. Please do comment & critisize.

MahiDa One-Shot Scene
||Vaibhav is Back||
Usmaan sir gave paper work of Chamba to Brinda & Mahindra; it has to be finish by tomorrow morning, so both of them are still in office trying to finish it. Brinda is sitting on her desk and going through some files, when a passing by Mahindra notices her, he goes to her and sits on the desk next to her and moves his left hand behind her and keeps on table as a support.
Brinda notices his presence but still doesn't look up from file, pretending she didn't notices him. Mahindra takes good look at her, trying to study her face; a smile appears on his face. After good few minutes when he realises she will not say anything he decides to break the ice.
Mahindra: Itni khoh kar kounsa sabak yaad kar rahi ho? Koi exam dena hai kya?
Brinda looks up and give him deadly look, to this he makes such an innocent face to which Brinda's deadly look starts to melt, forcing her to smile which she's trying to hide.
Brinda: Tum bhi....
Voice: Brinda.
Before she could finish someone interrupts her. Her gaze follows the voice. She's shocked to see who is standing in front of her. The file from her hands almost slip, which leave Mahindra confused.
Brinda: Vaibhav... tum yahan?
A tall handsome man in his late twenties, a fair complexion, wearing official suit, stands in front of her with a warm smile. Brinda slowly gets up and walks up to him meanwhile Mahindra realises who is he and he's really disliking this moment and him! Vaibhav hugs Brinda as she approaches him and Brinda hugs him back. Mahindra who is watching all this quietly suddenly feels like strangling Vaibhav.
Brinda: Tum yahan? Kaise ho?
Vaibhav: theek hon. Tum kaisi ho?
Brinda: Main bhi achi hon.
Vaibhav and Brinda pull apart; Brinda drags Vaibhav with arm and brings him in front of Mahindra. Now Mahindra & Vaibhav standing face to face.
Brinda: Vaibhav yeh Mahindra hain.. mere colleague.
She looks at Mahindra.
Brinda: Aur Mahindra yeh Vaibhav hai... Mera AMERICA wala dost.
Mahindra throws her a glare; he can see a twinkle in her eyes and a naughty smile on her face. He does not like this moment.
Vaibhav: Hi.
Mahindra (with fake smile): Hello.
Vaibhav turns to Brinda and his expressions changes in to nervousness, Brinda notices it.
Brinda: Vaibhav what happened?
Vaibhav looks at her and then at Mahindra, still trying to find words but unable to. Brinda is getting anxious now.
Mahindra: Mujhe lagta hai.. mujhe chalna..
Vaibhav: Nahi it's ok. Errr.. Brinda.. mujhe tumhari help chahiye. Will you help me?
Brinda: Of course Vaibhav, tell me what's the problem? You know I'm always there for you. But first tell me when you came back from NY?
Vaibhav: Main ajj hi aya hon, infact my flight landed an hour ago. Sabse pehle tumhare paas aya hon, mujhe tumhari madad chahiye. Aik musibaat hai.
Mahindra: Kahin kisi ka khoon toh nahi kar diya na tumne?
Vaibhav (shocked): WHAT??!!
Brinda looks at him and signals him to keep quiet.
Brinda: Tum.. tum batao kya baat hai.
Vaibhav: woh maine.. woh Brinda.. woh.
Brinda: Woh kya?
Vaibhav looks at her and finds the courage to speak up.
Vaibhav: Woh maine.... shaadi karli.
MahiDa: KYA?!!
Mahindra's hand slips from the desk, making him almost fall on desk and Brinda feels like she's heard something wrong. Vaibhav gets scared seeing their reactions. Mahindra makes an effort to pull himself up again is same position.
Brinda: Kya... kya.. kya kaha tumne?
Mahindra could not believe what he heard and Brinda goes into shock!
Vaibhav: Maine shaadi karli America mein parents ko bataye bina and you've to help me now.
Vaibhav completes his sentence without any pause, making hard for Brinda to catch up but she eventually understands and feels like her head is spinning.
Mahindra (happily excited): Sach mein?! Mubarik ho bohut bohut.
Mahindra takes his hand and shakes it forcibly and Vaibhav wonders what happened to him. Brinda seeing this comes out of shock and pulls Mahindra's hand away from Vaibhav's. She turns to Mahindra and gives him dagger looks but Mahindra doesn't care know, he feels so happy.
Brinda: Pagal hogaye ho? Esne shaadi karli NY mein, apne parents ko bataye bina!
Mahindra: Toh shaadi ki hai na... shaadi ke baad life toh guzarni hai esi liye mubarik de raha hon.
Mahindra feels like laughing hard but tries hard to hide it, but still Brinda can clearly see the happiness on his face. She don't want to admit but she also feel so relieved knowing Vaibhav got married because now her family wouldn't ask her to marry Vaibhav. But still everything is happening too fast not giving her enough time to react.
Vaibhav: Brinda.. mujhe pata hai tum gussa ho, par...
Brinda: Koun hai woh?
Vaibhav: Meri friend Nirmal, NY mein aik conference mein mila tha, hum kafi ache dost thay last 6 months se par achanak last month usne apni feelings confess ki aur phir mujhe bhi realise howa ke mujhe esay pyaar hogaya hai. Aur phir 2 din pehle hum log Los Vegas gaye toh wahan par hume bas laga ke hum shaadi karlein toh karli.
Brinda don't know what to say or do. She looks around trying to find words meanwhile Mahindra have started to enjoy this moment alot!
Brinda: Toh thoda ruk jate na, uncle, aunty se permission le lete yaan bata dete.
Mahindra: Kya keh rahi ho Brinda, pyaar mein insaan yeh sab kahan soch pata hai.
Vaibhav: Haan.. yeh sahi keh raha hai.
Mahindra smiles widely and Brinda is surprised to hear Mahindra talking about love. For a moment she forgets Vaibhav and keeps looking at him, trying to see what exactly happened to him all of sudden.
Brinda: Tumne.. tumne.. waqai hi shaadi karli?
Vaibhav: Haan na, kabse yehi keh raha hon.
Brinda (Happy & excited): Waqai hai? Sach mein?
Vaibhav: Haan na. Brinda.. tum shock mein toh nahi chali gayi na?
Mahindra wonders why she is asking him this now. Mahindra looks at her and can sense the happiness and relief she's feeling, this makes Mahindra grin.
Brinda: Nahi woh.. yakeen nahi horaha.
Vaibhav: I know, tumhare liye mushkil hoga kyunki last time jab hum mile toh humare rishte....
Brinda: Woh sab chodo...
Vaibhav: Toh tum batao na.. meri help karogi? Pleaseeeeeeeeeee....
Brinda: OK ok.... I will help you.
Vaibhav: Thankyou, thankyou so are my true friend.
Brinda smiles and Vaibhav hugs her, Mahindra's grin soon changes into irritation look.
'Shaadi karli phir bhi esko galay lagana nahi chodega. Eski toh main...'
Brinda & Vaibhav break apart from hug.
Brinda: Tum ghar jao main apne parents ko lekar tumhare ghar ati hon sham ko toh wahin sabko batayeinge.
Vaibhav: KYA?!!!
Brinda: Tum chahte ho na ke sab Nirmal aur tumhari shaadi ko accept karein.
Vaibhav nods his head in agreement.
Brinda: Toh unko batana toh hoga na.
Vaibhav nods again like a child, Brinda feels awe over him. Vaibhav leaves from there, leaving Mahindra and Brinda alone once again. As soon Vaibhav leaves Brinda takes a deep breath and calms herself, she finds herself smiling widely realising Vaibhav got married. It seems a burden have been lifted from her heart. Even though Vaibhav is great friend of her she can't imagine marrying him!
'God.. jab mama ko pata chalega toh unke expressions toh priceless honge. Just can't wait to see them!!'
Brinda put her hand over her face in order to hide her smiling face which appeared as she imagined her mother's heartbroken expressions. Mahindra notices her smile, Brinda comes back from her imagination and notice Mahindra looking at her with naughty smile on his face.
'Oh no, now he wouldn't let this opportunity slip.'
Mahindra walks up to her and looks at her closely.
Mahindra: Tumhara America wala dost toh gaya. Lagta hai sadma laga hai tumhe uski shaadi ka, jo es tarhan hans rahi ho.
Brinda looks at him, trying hard not to react to his comments.
Brinda: Sadma? Kyun? Mujhe toh khushi hai....
She bits her lip.
'Why did I had to say this?'
Mahindra: Ohhhhhhh.. toh tumhe khushi hai. Haan honi toh chahiye. Acha hai warna tumse shaadi hojati.
Brinda raises her eye brow and with twinkle in her eye looks at him.
Brinda: Toh?
Mahindra: Toh...
Brinda: Toh?
Mahindra comes closer to her until there is few inches gap between them. Brinda starts to feel uneasy, her heart beat is getting faster. Mahindra looks into her eyes deeply.
Mahindra (whispers): Toh... hume..
Brinda tries to look away.
Brinda: Hume??
Mahindra: Humein ab kaam kar lena chahiye.
Brinda looks at him in shock, trying to read his expressions but in return Mahindra just smiles. Brinda's face falls as she was expecting something else, she curses herself for it and just starts to walk off when Mahindra holds her arm, making her stop her traces there. Mahindra slowly walks up to her and again stand really close to her still holding her hand. He looks deeply in her eyes and brings his face closer to her. Brinda tries to move away but her feet glued to floor and the power of his gaze holds her gaze. Mahindra brings his face even more closely to her making Brinda close her eyes; her heart is beating faster. Mahindra moves his lips to her right ear and very gently whispers in her ear.
Mahindra: Ab toh usne bhi shaadi karli, toh ab hume..... toh ab.. sirf main aur tum. Hum dono.
He slightly blows in her making her heart skip a beat. Mahindra looks at her face; her eyes are still tightly shut. He gently lets go off her hand and moves away from her. Brinda takes few minutes to come back to reality but her heart still isn't beating at normal pace. Brinda doesn't even dare to look at him in fact she starts to walk in other direction, completely lost in the moment.
Mahindra on the other hand smiles rather blushes making his fingers go through his black thick hairs, definitely being so close to Brinda made his heart beat faster too.
