Well Aishwarya has always been bigger than her movies, even her so called "flops" are still heavily watched and liked sometimes even more than Hit movies.

As for her "comeback", I hope it happens soon and hope Abhishek has nothing to do with it

Lol, I doubt it, Mani Ratnam is unlikely to go anywhere near the Bachans after Bachan Senior's rant over what he felt lacking in Ravan, having the gall to attribute the blame to Mani Ratnam for its failure.
Besides has Mani Ratnam made any hindi movie after that? I think after his 3 heart attacks and the hardships faced making the film, he wouldn't associate with them, which is a shame considering how him and Aish gel together.
