The makers of Zee TV's new show are all praises for the newbie actor, we wonder why?
Kanchi Singh recently shot a sequence for Rajan Shahi'sAur Pyaar Ho Gaya, where she was standing on the ledge of a building's fifth floor.
The sequence goes something like this - Avni, the character get's stuck on a ledge and is scared to get off. However, our hero Raj (Mishkat Varma) comes to her rescue and helps her get off. During the rescue mission she trips, falls and Raj holds her having a classic romantic moment.
Now while all this may seem very daredevil kinds, we'd like to point out that there was enough space on the ledge for at a least dozen people to stand comfortably. Don't believe us? Take a look at the photograph.
Now like most actors, if Kanchi had opted for a body double, it would have been a real shame. However, we hear Kanchi took the onus of doing the stunt herself with a harness tied to her. The director had apparently suggested that they use a body double but Kanchi insisted on doing it herself, which we appreciate.
Let's just hope that the newbie's continues to keep getting adventurous and take it a step further next time!
