Sharda should go missing...

I really think Sharda should go missing from the house. Most of the people don't understand the importance of her being home anyway. If she is not in the house, the members will realize how essential she is in every day life.

She literally helps her husband get dressed! Latika shamelessly drops of her daughter at the Modi house every single day. Dadi does nothing but criticize/taunt/speak against Sharda all the time. Chirag only cares about money. No one knows that their life DEPENDS on Sharda.

Sharda needs to prove to them that she is the pillar of the house.

Agreed.. But, I don't think she will. We have been shown that Sharda cares about her family even if they taunt her badly. She always supports them.. Then, how will she leave her home? However, studying and being able to read and write will prove herself to the family. They really need a slap in their faces right now and that's the best way Sharda can do it - by learning to read and write.

That would be a great situation to make everyone in the family realize about how important Sharda is to them...if this wasn't a Hindi serial.

If this were to actually happen on the show then everyone would probably just blame Sharda for running off rather than seeing her value. It's not running away that will help Sharda but her getting educated and putting the rest of the family in their place by showing them that she is a housewife but she can handle the outside world too. I think that after she gets educated, it would be great if Sharda opened her own business...saris, food, whatever she is essentially amazing at eveything.
