Khushi was sitting near the window thinking about those precious time she had spent with him. He was the only one who used to understand her every problem whether she was sad, happy, angry.
He was the sole reason of her existence and today he was nowhere to be found. She was waiting for him, after so many years she was still waiting for him. His promise, the only promise he had made to her that he will return for her only her. But her wait seemed to be never ending. It had been four year since he went making a promise to return.
"Khushi...Khushiii...Khushhiii..Kahan kho gayi tu..Phirse apne Arnav ka khyalon mein toh nai khoyi hui hai? Jo ab tak nai aya woh ab kya ayega"

"What about me? How will I stay without you? But I m happy for you Arnav! Very happy! Waise when are you leaving for Harvard university?" She said trying to change the topic
"Khushi look at me once you know I cant see you sad. If you say such thing how I m going to go and make bright future for us?"
"I m sorry Arnav for the outburst but I can't live without you for a sec and here you will go for how many years I don't have any idea how will I survive? And more over there will be more beautiful girls around you what if .." Her rest of the words never left her mouth.
Arnav sensed what was going to come and before those words came he landed his lips on her and kissed her furiously a kiss of promise, conveying those feeling which was in his heart for this mad girl
whom he loved madly crazily since the time he had met her. He have confessed his feelings to Khushi much before and he knew she also reciprocated the same for him but realization would take time. Soon Khushi's hands came around his neck and she was kissing him back fighting for dominance, tasting each and every corner of his mouth they kissed for a long time and left when breathing became necessary for them.
When arnav saw Khushi, her lips were swollen and she kept eyes down casted not meeting his smirking looks.
"Wow mujhko nahi pata tha tum itna acha kiss karti ho..!! He teased her.
Ouch..Ouch...Ouch..!!" Khushi was feeling shy and when he started teasing she started hitting him with her small palms although it didn't have any effect on him but he acted just for her happiness.
"Khushi trust me when I say I m yours that means I m only yours and I will return for you, for us, for our future.
That day they parted with a promise to meet again for their ove, their future.

That was the day Khushi saw her Arnav for the last time. It had been four years and yet there was no sign of Arnav, neither did he call or tried to contact khushi
