This is a beautiful piece, so well written, which we would love to see happen.

This Jodha Begum as described by you, able to think and feel, sensitive, graceful yet fiery, syncs with the Jodha we were shown earlier, ...fencing, aarti, poem, etc...the Jodha Begum we always wished she were...but not with this annoyingly articulate purist that she has been portrayed since post-Mohan.

She'll get there Sandhya...she'll get there...just as we hope that jalal,also will get his brains back...

I so am missing this Jalal onscreen...😭 Was wondering if post the Benazir episode (before the hakim Shivani fiasco of course) if this sort of quick resuscitative measures during that week might not help bring back his missing charm😭...

And just imagine the range of Rajat's expressions, if indeed this was picturised. Will any of us get to sleep a wink?😳

Yes, he apologizes to her when he comes to realize that he'd been using the wrong means to rile her up...(I.e. Benazir) leading to Jodha's public humiliation in the DEK and the Meena Bazaar - when it turns out that Ben was the one actually out to get his life and Jodha had saved him nevertheless...so, even without the letter debacle being totally ironed out, he still stands -feeling somewhat guilty for his actions that had led to oversight and public humiliation of both of them as a couple..that's why the brief para where he doesn't totally blame himself, but understands that he'd been behaving foolish too...

They are at an impasse in this juncture...neither hate nor love, but can't get over the other...half the MU solved and half of it not solved...thence the resentful passion...

Since they've opened up sooo many tracks between the leads, I was forced to play around with what I could...

PS2: Lashy, if you have time, you could write a parallel of the proceedings, in accordance with how the story could have been dealt better, without the loose ends and see-saw characters as shown, perhaps from the nadir-the tasneem track with the emperor in control. It would be more interesting than the drab on TV.

I shall try...I'm currently writing a fan fiction too and that's sapping a lot of my creative time and effort...but, as and when I get the ideas I'll definitely try to pen one down...😳
