But having no choice I would say Arjun Bijlani and if not him then Harshad Chopra!!!!!

Shabbir wouldn't be interested considering that he has his own PH in which he is busy and he failed as a replacement in another show in colors. Mohit has his own show which is doing very well. So unless they run out of story, I don't think LO will want to close it down. Kunal is a splendid actor but may not have the big build. Moreover don't know where he is now. If one overlooks the build, he will play MJ superbly and make everyone love him.Don't know what Shaleen is up to these days but he has the looks for the part. He can play the wild guy quite well.

All said and done I hope they retain the physical appearance of MJ - the long hair and the bearded look. Can't imagine MJ without it.

100% Shaleen he will be best suited have always enjoyed his characters even in Ganga where he played a negative role!!

I vote Harshad Chopra. I haven't seen much of the others' work but the show's makers clearly saw something in Harshad as it was pretty much neck to neck between he and Viraf in the initial casting. From what I've seen of Harshad's acting, he can do Mrityunjay justice. I'm a huge fan of his so I've actually always had that nagging curiosity as to how he would have been as Mrityunjay. When I heard Viraf was leaving I pretty much immediately thought -they need to bring in Harshad.

More than whether or not they suit the "look", for me, Mrityunjay is a really complex character, I think we need someone with the acting skills to pull off Mrityunjay like Viraf has, I think Harshad could do it perfectly.

I'd be extremely happy if Harshad replaced Viraf. I don't think he'll let us down.
