IMO, the replacement has to be similar in build to Viraf as both MJ and VP are larger than life characters and need some one with good physique to look convincing.

edit- Navi would be good too. Was he in Amrit Manthan? Vaguely remember watching few episodes of that show.

May be both would be loyal to the channel or a well deserving new face who would be committed to stay the course.

Mohit Raina would be awesome...plus the characters are so similar yet set in different settings...

But wonder if Mohit would agree to fit into someone else's shoes!

Mohit has good fan following too and MD had been a channel driver in it's peak days for LOK.

About roping-in another popular actor as a replacement, this show is just begging and IMO, yet to reach it's peak glory and it's not like the replacement would be getting crappy tracks and illogical leaps at this stage in EBI. Whoever comes in has lot to contribute for the character's growth & story's progression.

I really wish someone goes and sells this show to Mohit and signs him pronto. Viraf has my blessing for his BW and all other dreams .😆

A lot of members have been mentioning Harshad Chopra and I think I could actually see him as MJ. I know he can pull of the beard, maybe even the hair. I've seen some of his work and I think he's great. Hopefully he's still available.

Mohit Raina is a great choice too and very fitting, but he's still tied up with his show..

Kunal Karan Kapoor who played Mohan Bhatnagar in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha is the best replacement I can think of. He has long hair and beard - suits him well and he is a brilliant actor who can emote any scene with conviction.
