CHAPTER-10.
Astha stared up at his dark burning eyes,and gulped down a knot of fear..
"Wha-..What do you mean?!Let go of me!"She said in a strange croaky voice.
Unsuccessfully she tried to free her hand,but ended up coming closer against him,as he pulled her up against his body.
"Are you scared of me Astha?"He whispered as his face came close to hers,his dark eyes looking unblinkingly into hers.
Astha could not help but lean backward..
"Nn-..No..Why should I be scared of you..?"Her voice now barely recognizable..
"Are you sure..?"He stepped closer now,his grip on her lose..Astha instantly stepped back.
"O-..Ofcourse!You don't scare me a bit!"Involuntarily Astha too two more steps back..
Shlok stepped closer,but Astha backtracked more..
Finally the wall behind her prevented her going back further..
"A-..Ayi must be waiting for me.."She said breathlessly,as his face came within inches of hers..Astha turned her face to one side,as their lips were almost touching..
"Why..?"His husky voice increased her heart rate even more while his warm breath against her ear,sent tingling sensations up and down her nerves.."Why are you lying..?"
"I..I'm not.."
Shlok nuzzled her ear and blew at her lose tendrils by her ear,making her shiver in the process..
"Yes you are.."
"No.."Astha almost gasped out,as his lips brushed against her neck..
She clenched her hand into tight fists, trying her best not to react to his proximity..
"Then tell it by looking into my eyes.."He urged her.But still Astha did not turn her face..
"I dare you Astha.."That did it!
Astha knew she could not stand back when challenged,and instantly she turned..
And that is when it all happened..
As soon as Astha turned to face him,taking the bait,Shlok's world fell apart..
In her hurry to turn,her soft lips brushed with his by accident,and all the pent up yearnings within Shlok seem to burst out.
His warm lips instantly captured hers,in a hot searing kiss,as his one hand curved round her waist to bring her closer,while he other crushed her silky hair and curved round her neck to help him give better access to the nirvana of her soft lips..The lips that have been haunting him ever since he saw them..Ever since he had touched them..
His lips caressed hers,with all the yearning he had been feeling and more..She tasted so good,much better than he had imagined these days..He sucked on them with hunger,and pulled her soft body closer still against his..
He knew he was in heaven when his tongue caressed the seam of her lips,asking her silently to part them..But she was not complying much to his frustration..
So he kissed her with renewed passion,his lips sucking and licking on hers with ferocious raw intensity,his hands massaging her soft skin..One at her waist,and the other round her neck..
With desire making his being burn,his hand squeezed her waist gently making her gasp out,and Shlok took the chance and his tongue entered her mouth..That was when the kiss lost control and fireworks started taking place..
His tongue dueled with hers,asking her,challenging her to kiss him back.He licked the inner seam of her lips,tenderly at first,then he nibbled at her soft full lips making her moan out,and lean onto him..
Shlok knew he would die anytime now..It was not possible to feel and live through such intense passion while alive..His hand moved from her neck to caress her back..His fingers seeking the exposed soft skin that were not covered by her blouse..
He almost groaned out in pleasure when he found it.His rough hands caressed the soft tender skin of her back..The same skin that had been in his dreams..It felt so much better to touch,he thought helplessly as jolts after jolts passed through his body..
She was digging her nails onto his chest through his shirt,giving him further pleasure and satisfaction..
If only he could feel her hands running through his naked skin..But for now Shlok was satisfied kissing and licking the nirvana of her soft rosy lips..If he had known kissing her would give so much intense pleasure,he would have surely kissed her each and everytime he got her to himself..
Her nails were digging harder onto his chest,and Shlok pulled her closer..Or tried to do so,but was suddenly pushed away with extreme force..
Out of breath Shlok stared amazed at a similar breathless Astha..
A faint smile touched his lips,as he took in her disheveled state..Her messed up hair,her bushing skin,her rosy swollen kissed lips,and then her eyes..
He never could stop getting impressed by those beautiful eyes that clearly glittered with anger now..The strains of passion had reduced in them..
"How dare you?!"She hissed out,impressing him once again..
The tiny bit of a girl had courage he would have to say.
"How dare YOU kiss me?!"She hissed out again.
A frown appeared on his forehead at the framing of the question..The way she had emphasized on the YOU it appeared she would find it perfectly normal if someone else had kissed her,but definitely not him..
His amusement and passion was fast being replaced by anger now..
"Who gave YOU the right to-.."
"YOU did!"
Shlok pushed her against the wall again,as he came closer to her..This time his eyes burned with anger,as did hers.
"YOU gave me the right the very same day you took the pheras with me..The very same day you let me fill your maang with sindoor..!YOU did Mrs. Astha Shlok Agnihotri!"Shlok said through gritted teeth..
But his wife was not ready to lose the battle,it seemed..
"And I took the right away when YOU said to every Tom,Dick and Harry that you do not even want to see my face!Never mind accept this farce of a marriage and me!"She hissed out,stunning Shlok.
"YOU mocked this marriage,mocked my upbringing,and now you are talking about husbandly rights?!How dare you?!"She hissed out again..Her eyes burning with extreme anger,and a shadow of something..
Shlok looked deeper into her clear burning eyes..It was still there..Anger mixed with a dark shadow of pain..He had hurt her!She was hurt!
He had just realized this when he was pushed away once again with a final,"Don't touch me again!"..
Silently he watched her walk towards the balcony when her phone rang..
She checked the caller id and instantly her face lit up as if she had just seen Santa Claus with her gift..
A frown creased his brows again,as she heard her exclamation..
"Oh my God sweetheart you called!I thought you'll forget about your promise!"
Astha sent a last disgusted look at him,as she walked towards the balcony to talk in privacy..
While Shlok clenched his hand into tight fists,and gritted his teeth in anger,and an all new feeling,that was close to jealousy,gnawed at his insides..
Astha you are MINE!ONLY MINE!!!No one takes you away from me!No one will have any right over you except me!Shlok thought with a light of determination in his eyes..
