CHAPTER-9.

"Have you been thinking about me?"Shlok whispered huskily into her ear,nuzzling her sensitive earlobe at the same time.

Undeniable shock waves were passing through her body,starting from the tingling sensation at her ear and ending everywhere..

He removed his hand from her mouth,and used it to caress her soft cheek instead..

"Look at me..Mrs.. Agnihotri..I want you to look at me.."He insisted,turning her face up with his hand,while the other still held her by her waist.

Astha opened burning eyes and looked into his deep dark ones.

"Did you-.."

"No.I did not miss you at all Mr. Agnihotri..Nor did I think about you once..Infact I was relieved and happy,until now!Until you toppled out of nowhere!"She seethed out through clenched teeth surprising Shlok.

Astha tried to push him away and leave,but all was in vain.

Shlok's arm around her waist now tightened like iron shackles,as his other hand curved round her neck pulling her face upto an indecent proximity to his.

This is crazy!Anyone can see us!Ashe thought desperately as she looked into his burning angry eyes.But Astha was not going to plead him for anything at all.She was not ready to bend an inch for his pleasure.

"What..did..you..just..SAY?!"

He was so close to her that Astha could actually feel his warm breath fanning her face..Her stupid traitorous body was starting to do ballet in happiness while her smarter brain was getting ready to aim and fire..

Astha took in a steadying breath,trying to hide the inner battle between her brain and body..

It was a bigger mistake,she realized too late,as his heady cologne and male fragrance pleasured her smell senses,making her body yearn and beg for more shamelessly,while her brain got more rigid and stronger in its stand.

As if answering to her stupid body's demand,he pulled her closer up against his body..And his hand on her waist brushed against the exposed skin under her saree there..A fire explosion seem to travel down her sensitive nerves from the contact,drowning her logical mind..

Shlok was feeling the same thing at the contact.

She could tell as she took in his dilated pupil,flaring nostril and darkened eyes..

And as if she needed more proof,his hand brushed against the soft sensitive skin of her waist again..And again..And again..And..

OMG!This is getting impossible!

Astha closed her eyes again..She should not be enjoying these caresses,but she did!

Shlok could not help but move his hand along the soft skin of her waist..

His hand round her neck now traveled long her throat and up to her face.. He just could not stop himself from touching her..

Gone was his anger and rage and fury at her..Gone was his sanity and judgement of right ad wrong..Nothing mattered except her and this moment and her soft delectable body..And beautiful face..

His finger caressed her perfect features,one by one..

Her lips..

His thumb brushed against her full bottom lip,as his body hardened in reaction..Somewhere in his mind he knew he needed to stop..He had come here to teach her a lesson..Her soft lips parted slightly,making his blood heat up some more..

He pulled her closer,and looked into her beautiful slanted eyes..

He had to get closer to her..And in accordance of his yearning he did just that..He lowered his lips to hers..

"Arey Shlok beta!When did you come?!"Avdhoot's exclamation,made them spring apart instantly..

Out of the corner of his eyes Shlok noticed a blushing Astha,while he tried to calm himself down too.

Suddenly Avdhoot seem to realize the awkward situation he had discovered them in,and quickly made some excuse about some call,and left asking Shlok to come into the house.

Shlok's piercing eyes looked into Astha's..She was back in her angry mode he noticed..

"I'm sure you have you have lots of work..I'll make your excuse to my parents..No need to feel obligated to come to my house.."She seethed at him and turned to enter the house.

Astha felt relieved when Shlok did not stop her..Atleast that is what she made herself believe,as she walked into the house and no one followed her in.

So he had taken her advice and left for his work after all,she thought bitterly.

After all what else could she expect from a man who did not want to see her face before marriage,and after marriage expected her to give him husbandly rights..

Astha thought on anger,as she traced her steps towards the sitting room..

"Astha?Where is Shlok?Your baba said he is here?"Kalindi inquired.

"Wo ayi,he left-.."

"I went to bring my cell phone..I had left it in my car.."A familiar husky voice interrupted her,surprising her in the process.

With astonished eyes Astha noticed Shlok come in with a warm smile and greet her parents and Ajju.

He was behaving like a perfect well bred gentleman..!

"Shlok beta!It's so good to see you now!We thought you were going to be here in the evening..But it's so much better you are here already.So good of you to come to see us..."Astha's ajju,her grandmother said warmly.

Astha got ready to hear some corny line on love and respect and duty towards in-laws from the hypocrite,but Shlok surprised her once again.

"But I did not come here to see you people.."Astha felt he had just slapped her tight across the face..How dare he insult her ajju?!!She was getting ready to-..

"I came here as I could not stay away from my angel..My sweetheart.. Astha.."He finished softly,looking into her eyes as his arm curved round her waist lovingly,right there infront of her family..

Astha's mouth nearly hung open at his act..

The rest of the afternoon passed in some more farce on Shlok's part,and extreme anger on Astha's part..

He was behaving like a perfectly lovelorn husband,who could neither keep his eyes nor his hands off his beloved wife,much to Astha's irritation..

Somehow Astha manged to finish her lunch while her family oohed and aahed and took care of him,and he in turn took care of her..

This is definitely getting crazier by the minute!I need to stop this!She had decided when her mother's voice broke into her thoughts.

"Astha take Shlok to your room..I'm sure he needs some rest.."Kalindi urged her softly.

"Mm..My room?!But why my-"

"Astha!He is your husband!Come on now be a good girl!"Kalindi softly scolded her,and gritting her teeth Astha led him to her room.

"Here.This is my room!You can rest here.."Showing him the bed Astha turned to leave when his hand stopped her.

"Where do you think you are going?"He asked in a soft but dangerous voice,his eyes glittering dangerously,as simultaneously he shut and locked the bedroom door with a loud click..
