Yes it is distasteful, agreed. But you know what, the team can only work on one original and fantastic track. The writers have always had this problem, Sona (oldestfan) used to call them team red and team blue.

Yes there is no hard and fast rule that bad people make bad parents or their kids follow their path. But what Humy did is not that bad either. It's not like Haider is going to commit murder becoz of this. I blame it to the emotional turmoil this girl has faced ever since she got half-engaged to Ayaan. 😉

Having said that Humzie and Ketki have grown in heaps and bounds since the start of the show. I find no change in her dialogue delivery though but I must admit that she's good as a rank newcomer in this industry. I esp loved the Humeira and Ketki I saw after Ayaan left SM. Kudos to that scene. Verry well enacted.

Nahi yaar, hger pronunciation has improved a bit. Look at Kangana, despite being in the movies for so many years and having the best tutors, her accent is still prominent. It takes a lot of time.

I'm totally with you on RV. Gul did pick the right guy. She has been bang on with her casting except Rishabh. I wonder what went wrong there. He was good in comedy scenes though ESP with Zoya/Surbhi.

Ketki has a long long way to go. She says fir se instead of phir se, beokoof instead of bewakoof, up ko instead of aapko many a times, she can't differentiate between iss and yeh and there are many such examples. Dunno if Ketki alone is to be blamed for this if nobody is correcting her. She is a very good actress so it gets overshadowed but these things are a lil disturbing esp coz it's a Muslim show and the pronunciation is supposed to be good. Having said that I've found a couple of faults in Surbhi's and Karan's pronunciation too in the past but they can be totally ruled out coz they are negligible. Alka needs to give lessons to her. I'm not saying that there are no big actors with faults but Ketki really needs to work on her basic pronunciation too. Even Shalini isn't great but she isn't bad at all. And Vidya Sinha is very bad. I still maintain that inspite of all this Ketki is a very good actress and I really like her most of the times but to me yesterday was an exception.

Kangna is bad. I agree with you. That's why she's just arm candy and not really known for her acting skills. She displayed some though in Fashion and some other movie where she had a similar role.
