I too mostly prefer commenting in interesting posts only as making a post is quite a hectic thing to do as u got to reply to all 😆😳 but this show is so good that its worth making posts on it 😳

About Rudra , I m almost 50% sure of it 😆😆 .. his father must hv lied about his mother .. mayb his father only is the culprit and thats why he fears coming back to this village as he mayb living under the guilt and fear of lieing to his son about his mother and making him hate her ... I guess his father is secretly regretting it too seeing how Rudra has turned out to b a man filled with extreme hatred for women and life in general .. but he cannot tell him the truth now in fear of loosing his son ... This angle will b interesting .. 🤔

Looking at the latest spoilers and news bits I think this story is more or less based on the names given to the leads that's Rudra & Parvati , Rudra is one of the many names of Lord Shiva (in a very general sense )and if u will go back to the Goddess Parvati-Shivji story , Goddess Parvati's mother was told by Narad Muni how her daughters would be husband would be a combination of all wrong things per say so when the mother was all upset Narad Muni told her to get Goddess Parvati to somehow get Lord Shiva for herself cause all the avgurn become gurn in his case only ie all the otherwise apparent mentioned negatives are positives in his case ! So I guess same way all the flaws that appear in the char otherwise to us will be a string of positives in Rudra's case!

And the test for Parvati in this case will begin with the impending torture !

I know i have gone a bit too deep and ST might still be somewhere at water level but I guess thats how I see this !

In fact the whole Paro getting those nightmares actually reflect the same too .. Parvati has those visuals of Lord Shiva too and she was confused about it for a long time .. she just could not understand whether its a dream or a nightmare till she met Shiva and then did all the tapasya afterwards to get him out of his nidra-mode and accept her as his wife .. Lord Shiva actually remained in that dhyaan/nidra mode for ages post Sati's death .. he was angry with the whole world and himself too post Sati's death ... Here too Rudra has similar grudges against the world and women in general after hearing those stories about his mother ... so one can assume that Paro will hv to get Rudra out of this mode one day ..

I do feel ST is trying to mix two stories here .. that of Othello and Shiva-Parvati tale 😆.. the whole angle of Rudra's dark characterisation reminds me of Othello and then I see Paro and it gives a Lord Shiva Parvati wala feeling ..
