Chitra finds some chutney on Priya's shirt which shows that she has broken her fasting and accuses her of being a hypocrite. But Priya denies eating anything and comes up with some excuses and gets away with lying. Chitra is still suspicious.

Priya goes to her room grumbling about how unlucky she is. She opens her bag and is shocked to find the angavastharam stained by the oil from the vadai she bought from the roadside stall. She is worried as she can't buy a new one without being caught by Chitra.

She persuades Seetha to go and buy it in the market while she does all the work and keep Chitra's mind away from Seetha. Sumi and Patti are happy, unaware of Priya's true nature. Chitra criticises her for doing sloppish work and not being able to draw kolam on the floor. She is irritated and calls for Seetha.

Luckily Seetha arrives back on time and lies to Chitra that she bought some groceries for pooja and the kitchen. Chitra tries to open the bag but Priya stops her and says Seetha has bought the correct items and advises her to rest while they take care of the housework.

Priya goes into the kitchen, relieved that Seetha saved her. Suddenly she starts to feel nauseous and throws up in the sick. She suspects that she has gotten food poisoning after eating the vadai. Unexpectedly Chitra comes there and as a result, receives proof that Priya has eaten.

She goes to the living room and complains to Sumi and Patti about Priya's hypocrisy when she criticised Seetha for giving Sumi sugar water. Sumi asks if it is true and Priya admits to it saying she was hungry. Sumi says then she should not have done all the housework. Chitra advises her to be more responsible from now on.

Chitra asks Priya if she bought the angavastharam and Priya says she gave it to Seetha to place it in the pooja room. Chitra says she didn't see it. Priya asks her to go and check. Chitra says OK but if it's not there, there will be punishment awaiting them.

All go to pooja room and find it there to Priya's relief. Chitra is still suspicious while Patti says Chitra might not have seen it. Chitra denies it, then changes the topic. She asks if they forgot about the gold cot they ordered and Patti says Sumi has called and it will delivered during pooja. Chitra says OK and tells them to do any other work they have, and to be punctual for the pooja in the evening. All leave.

Priya calls Bhanumathy and tells how she got food poisoning. Bhanumathy says she could have gone to a better restaurant. Priya then says Chitra tortured her. Bhanumathy asks how is Seetha. Priya says she is being treated like a servant by Chitra and Bhanumathy is happy to hear this.

Bhanumathy happy to hear about Chitra torturing Seetha, She tells Priya that she is going to her neighbour's grand celebration to eat prasadham 😆😆😆 Priya praises her smartness 😛 and says if she does not anything she will call her.

Pooja takes place in the evening...all gather in pooja room.

Patti praises Seetha and Priya for doing all the work while Chitra says it's their duty and there is nothing to be proud of. All tensed for a while. Patti starts the ball rolling by saying it's not right for Seetha and Ram to stand apart. Sumi's husband agrees and tells her to look at Seetha's sad face. Chitra says there is a reason for that and if he knew her well he would understand the reason. He says he has seen her for 32 years and still can't understand her.

Chitra's husband says remember their fight after when they were newly married, he said he did not want to do pooja with Chitra, she was so sad that she never ate for two days. Chitra is adamant and says that was his own fault and he humiliated and blamed her in front of everyone. Chitra's husband becomes sad. Patti says there is no need for this unnecessary talk.

Ravi also tries to persuade along with Sumi that Ram and Seetha should stand together during the pooja. Chitra says she does not want to be the reason for the pooja to be stopped so she gives permission for them to stand together. Seetha is happy.

Sumi says very good and makes Seetha stand beside Ram who is semma tension. Seetha notices this and stops smiling.

Patti asks Seetha to sing a song for Lord Krishna before the pooja and Seetha sings. Chitra and the others admire her and are happy except Ram who ignores her. After the song one by one they go as Jodie's to conduct the pooja - Sumi and her husband, Chitra and her husband, Ram and Seetha, Ravi and Priya.

Patti tells Seetha and Ram that she wants a grandchild like Krishna by next year. Seetha goes into dreamland that her child is in a golden cot and Ram being caring towards her and the child...

Seetha comes back to reality. Patti and the others smile while Ram's face has no reaction. Priya is irritated.

After pooja Ravi asks when is food being served. 😆 All laugh while Chitra's husband says time for one of his kavidhais 😆 Ravi says never mind no food and no Kavidhai and escapes...😃

Later at night Priya is going to sleep when Chitra stops her and gives the house keys to lock every room. Priya asks if she has to do this but Chitra is stern and makes her do it. Having no choice, Priya leaves to do it while Chitra stares after her.
