After the small encounter with the little girl they all were all
lead to a special table which was in a private area with a few
other groups of people sitting around tables. They seemed to
be there either for a meeting or just some groups who would
like to have a bit of privacy.
The waiter lead the group of five to their table, where just
after a short while someone joined them. All of them got up
with smiles to greet him except Madhu who did get up but was
confused who that guy was. He was just about RK's height,
well a few inches taller and also had a very well built up body.
The stranger was wearing very formal clothes to which Madhu
guessed that he must be the friend they all wanted her to meet,
the owner of this cafe. As they were all just greeting each other
and hugging as if they were meeting after years they completely
forgot about Madhu who was just awkwardly standing there
rubbing her left arm with her right hand looking anywhere but
them. When she turned towards them, to her amazement she
saw Trishna giving that stranger a kiss on the cheek and him
interlocking his fingers with her and giving her a sweet smile.
Madhu couldn't help but smile at the sweet couple in front of
her eyes.
"Oh sorry Di, we totally forgot about you..." said Anjali gaining
her attention aswell as brought the others to pay attention
towards her.Madhu just smiled back not knowing what to say.
"Well Madhu meet Arjun...he is the one we wanted you to meet.
And Arjun this is Madhubala, a very old friend of mine and
Trishna's older sister..." Madhu wanted to correct RK, step-sister, but kept quiet. She didn't know why but she just did,
guessing not wanting to be to bitter in the joyful environment.
"Hey Madhubala," he said breaking her out of her thoughts.
"Hey...and please call me Madhu" she replied with a smile
"Trish you never told me that you had an older sister! And how
come i have never meet her?" he said turning to Trishna with
a confused look. The question also got RK wondering, how
come he didn't know that Shamsher Uncle had another daughter
and that too Madhu. They had never mentioned her name or
anything related to her before in front of him...
"Well i have always lived in London as our parents had separated
when we were really young, that's why" Madhu quickly replied
as she could tell by Trishna's face that she didn't know what to
say, "...and well i just came her to meet them all," she
continued. She always had been straight foreward with her
answers, furthermore she didn't want anymore questions
regarding that topic but Rishabh made a mental note on asking
her about it. She looked at Arjun's face and he seemed to be
more than satisfied with her answer.
"Alright, so Madhu how's London?" he asked seating himself
down aswell as the others.
"Ummm...nothing really special to be honest; of course except if
you are a person who likes wasting their time in front of a
palace or so.." she said with a shrug
"Hey! London is awesome ok! Full of People and different
colours of life.." argued back RK.
"Lets be honest Rishabh, there is nothing really special"
"Madhu it's such a historical place!"
"Ha! Historical'? As far as i remember you hated it! And if i
remember you always used to find excuses not to attend that
class or even bunked them!" RK had no words..it was all true..
he still hated history.
"Well..umm..the people...yeah the people...would you get such
a range anywhere else?" he said raising his brows.
"You mean you wouldn't get such a range' of different food...
after all that's what you always cared about.." she said with a
teasing smirk. All burst out laughing at him while e went
completely red.
"Di stop being mean to my Superstar.." Anjali said putting on a
straight face "...even though i miss those chubby cheeks to pull
at!" and once again Laughter could be heard.
"You guys are coming for the party tomorrow right?" asked
Arjun as they got ready to head back home.
"Of course yaar! It's your Dad who is hosting it so i have to!"
replied RK. Arjun's Dad was a very well known business man
and also had supported RK a lot in his struggling years.
"And Madhu you are coming too...and don't even try making
excuses...your whole family is coming" she had no other choice
than to agree, over the last few hours she did make out that
Arjun can be quite stubborn.
They all were sitting in the lounge when the five entered; all
laughing and chatting.
"How was lunch guys?" asked Roma gaining their attention
"Fab! Di revealed so many secrets of Superstar.." Anjali said
giving her mother a hug then seating herself next to her. Madhu
noticed Deepali giving them all angry glares...well why wouldn't
she be angry? They all did leave her...
"You know i really hate you for saying all those things..."
whispered Rishabh into Madhu's ear..
"It's not like i Love you.." she whispered back
"You never know...you might just do fall for me.." he said back
giving her a sexy wink, where as she gave back a puking face.
"Madhu beta...come sit with me here.." said a voice making
them turn towards him. Just his voice managed to boil up anger
and hate on her face. How many times did she have t tell him it
is Madhubala!?!
She completely ignored him and turned her head away which
landed on Trishna just making her fury within her worse.
"Madhu?"
"Shamsher stop calling her MADHU!" said Rohan loudly. He very
well knew that it was making her angry and als hurting her
somewhere deep down.
"She is my daughter Bhai!"
"She has told you so many times already that she doesn't want
you calling her that!"
"Bhai please...this matter is between Father-Daughter and i think it also should stay that way!"
"Stop calling me your daughter Mr.Malik! I have already told you
i don't have a father! And whatever Rohan Uncle is saying is
what i want which i have already told you many times..." she
said in fury.
Saying that RK was Shocked, amazed, surprised would all be
and understatement. Never in his life had he ever even
imagined Madhu being this harsh, that too towards her father.
