Second Episode

So finally got a show I can get hooked to atleast for few months before the channel interferes & spoils the essence of the show...a task they are best at. 😆

The episode starts with the continuation of yesterday's last scene, i.e. Aaliya praying for her Mamu in the dargah.
The scene after that was the groom's family coming to see her.
Lol that guy was completely smitten by Aaliya's beauty 😳
Nazar hi nahi hatt rahi thi janab ki Aaliyah ki tasveer se.
And Aaliya paying just Rs 200 to the boatman coz ek side ka usne khud chalaya tha 😆 which shows that she's a street smart girl too & knows very well how to negotiate & all. 😉

Now coming to Zain miyaan.
So finally we have a lead who is not that typical "Angry Young Man" which is sooo very common now a days on TV. 👏
Thank God for that because when I had first seen the promos of the show I had thought he's again going to be like those anger & attitude filled man like other shows.
But I was really surprised yesterday after seeing that he's just the opposite of what I had thought.

The airport scene was hilarious 🤣
What a way to decrease the weight of your overloaded luggage!
Mashallah!! I'll also try that someday. 😆
And he didnt himself get up to let the old couple sit but instead made the other two guys from the front seat vacate there's! 🤪

Both Zain & Aaliya are so much like each other which is what makes it all the more interesting.

Loved his scene with Suraiya & Usman.
They are a one happy family & its quite evident he loves his parents a lot & can do anything for them especially his dad.
And on the other hand Aaliya too respects her Mamu a lot.
So I guess they will agree to get married to each other just for Usman's happiness.

The best thing about the show is that its very lighthearted & both the leads are very natural in whatever they do.
I really want it remain like this only.
Simple & with an authentic feel without unnecessary twists, turns & nonsense drama.
As I like watching lighthearted shows with throw of subtilities here & there.

Eagerly waiting for the next episode.

Agree Mohini...I m getting that NBT Season 1 Feeling all over again...Channel will not interfere ...as this one is finite 6 month Show...If ratings are 2+ its here to stay and then we may get some twists ...but that should not hamper the overall characters ...

Exactly Aakash.
Even Im getting that lighthearted & slice of the life feel after watching two episodes which was there in Ssn 1.
Which is why Im hooked to this show.
The leads are so fresh & natural.
Maan Sir is doing a great job indeed. 👏
And upar se Jeeji Bua (Madhuri Jee) is also there. 😃
Her bonding with Zain is also very cute. 😳
I really hope Colors last year ke jaisa Nbt wala haal yahan na kar de. 🤢
Atleast BB 8 tak ise aise hi rakhe.
Uske baad khatm karna chahe toh kar de.
Anyways I wont get attached to this show as much I was to Nbt. 🥱

This is spot on how I felt about today's episode. Indeed the show is lighthearted which is very appealing. I hate sitting through dark and gloomy shows. I was literally smiling throughout the entire episode.

Zain is a splendid contrast to the overrated angry young men that dominate TV screens. I am sick and tired of those guys and was afraid that Zain might be one of them. I really like the bond that he shares with his family. At first I was expecting his mom to be standoffish with him, but surprisingly she was genuinely nice. I was also expecting his Bhabis to be snobbish towards him, but they were pleasantly nice with him too. Really wonderful to see that he gets along well with everyone in the family.

Preetika as Aaliyah was a natural. There is something really unique about her that adds so much more to the show. I think she can give some of the other TV actresses a run for their money.

Aaliyah and Zain have similar personalities and I guess this is why the tiff will begin. As we all know, the same poles repel. Again this is a nice contrast to the usual two people who are complete opposites falling in love. I also feel that Usmaan will be the reason Zain and Aaliyah come together.

I really hope your fear of the channel interfering doesn't come true. So far they have a good show in their hands. Hopefully they don't fall into the numbers game.

Completely agree with you.
Preetika has a certain kind of grace & charm in her.
She's really very attractive & has a strong screen presence.
Even Harshad is so natural in his scenes.
Its really commendable for a newbie like him to put up such a commendable & natural performance.

Nothing is OTT about the show till now.
Even the bigamy track is being shown in a light manner without creating unnecessary drama out of that.
Although being a strict Mother In Law, Suraiya is not at all OTT like the other typical Saas of the high Trp shows.
She's just like any other high society woman.

I really hope against all hopes that the channel wont touch the storyline of this show and we are able to have an awesome time for atleast 6-7 months.
I'll be very grateful to them if they do so.
But really not expecting much from them.

A very nice second episode...cool, funny, breezy, dreamy...all wrapped into one.

Nice post👏 Really loving the lighthearted nature of the show. so far so good. There are enough angry young men out there ,good to see a lead with a sense of humour😉
