CHAPTER 1
Ding dong...dinnng... donggg...dinggg dongg... Frustrated taani kept on pressing the door bell but here rommie NEHA was nowhere to open the door..
" taani...where's the fire sweetheart???" finally neha opened the door
"where the hell were you neha..aadha ghante se bell bja rhi hu"
"sorry taani.. who I was practicing toh door bell pr dhyan nhi gya.."
"GOHD Neha..." taani raised her arms in defeat.
"chal go n freshen up quickly.. I have made rajma chawal for you.." neha shouted from the kitchen..
Chilled water was flowing down from her velvet skin.. her long black ravan hair were sticking to her face.. and here under the shower she was in her deep thoughts.. the incident of orphanage home was still playing in front of her eyes..
"but Roy uncle" taani argued back
"Taani you don't have any right to speak in between the trustees. We guyz will decides what is right for ruhi. You're still an outsider for SUNSHINE ORPHANAGE HOME." Said very angry mr. Roy who was looking clearly frustrated with taani illogical arguments.
"so m outsider now" said taani in very low voice. She didn't expected this.
"Listen taani.. I didn't mean that.. it's just the panel does't want any interference on your part.. beta try to understand.." Mr. roy tried to make taani understand but she was adamant on her words.
"Then I should better leave" said taani " but I just want to say one thing.. kuch bhi decide karne se pahle ek baar ruhi ka masoom chehra ap log jaroor dekh lena.." taani left with teary eyes..
" I admit that humaare landlord ne water fare kam kr diye hai but it doesn't mean that you will wasting water.. neha not liking it.. see if u won't come out in 5 minuts toh neha will locking you inside and throwing keys in samundar.." shouted neha in her usual tone.. who was angry due to unbearable hunger.
"but neha tum delhi me samunder kahan se laogi?" taani chuckled over neha while coming out from bathroom. "just give me five minute.. I will at dining"
"AMmm neha..yummy... world k best rajma chawal hai ye..i love it.." taani grabbed a spoonful of rajma chawal n munched it..
And there neha was admiring her stupid friend.. she has always treated her like a younger sister. Although she is just few months older than her yet she likes to pamper her. She still remembered that day when she met her at first..
" neha not liking it.. first day in city n kuch bhi nhi mila...no house..no job.. kya karungi me abb..
neha even can't go back.. vapis gyi toh apna passion bhoolna pdega.." she brusted out in tears and that was the moment taani noticed a girl in white patiyala at bus stand jo khud se baat krte krte ro rahi thi..
taani went near her
"ma'm do need any help." Asked concerned taani
"yeah.. neha needs help"
"ok.. but let me help you first..fir neha ki bhi help kr denge"
"arre baba neha me hi hu" after listening tat both brusted in great laughter..
"Neha!!!! Apni taarif sunkar hi pate bharogi kya?? C'mon start eating.."
"accha taani.. did u went to orphanage home?? What happened there??"
"Nothing much neha.. the so called biological parents of ruhi had came.. vahi hus jo expected tha.. the panel wants ruhi to go along with them. But she doesn't want to go.. so panel has decided to conduct DNA test on next week."
"Taani agar DNA match hua toh?"
"toh kya neha..kuch bhi ho jae..i won't let them to take her.. just because some stupid test proves that those jerks are her biological parents, it won't gives them guardian right over her.. Annie mam ne usse bachpan se paalaa hai.. ruhi too can't live without her.. and her friends..kya hoga sabka??"
"Taani one more thing... ruhi can't live you too" said neha while winking.
"neha dekh lena..ruhi kahin nhi jaegi.. she will stay with us" taani replied while reciprocated winking
"taani tum humesha se hi aise ho.. you always think for others.. that day too!! You don't even knew me, still u took me to your home" neha again went to flashback...
"Neha... no if no but sirf ok taani bolo..n m not doing any favour on you.. I was also looking for a roomie as my landlord has increased the rent.. and tumhare jaise partner milna is next to impossible.." taani argued back to neha..
"ok taani.. u win I loose.. lets go to your oops nahi our house" neha smile.
