Wonderful analysis, Kshithi šŸ‘ . Loved ur title, so very apt for our tedha Shahenshah šŸ˜‰ . He just has too many layers to fathom him out so easily. Am glad that the CV s have done much justice to his characterisation. Those scenes they show to let us know what Jalal learns from the smallest thing r very well done. He doesn't seem to miss a tiny nuance that might give him a lesson to make him a better ruler, love that. And he doesnt hesitate to admit he s in the wrong & goes abt redeeming the situation immediately as well as making himself a better person bcos of it. And yeah, so far he learns from his mistakes & doesn't repeat them 😊 . That's what makes me like & admire him a lot.

Regarding Jodha, yeah, she s the catalyst for making Jalal mend his wrong. The CV s might not have been very convincing in showing this in recent tracks, but we understand this is their basic motive. I agree that both Ja & Jo r flawed characters & like them for it. Who on earth wants to see perfection personified characters when we ourselves all have our own foibles. It d be indeed very boring to see a purely white character I d say šŸ˜• .

But one of my wishes that I d like to see ( which isnt gonna happen am sure seeing its Ekta s soap šŸ˜› ) is Jo realising that she might not be correct all the time & her straight ways might not work for the good all the time. I started loving Jalal s character bcos he started introspecting & admitted his faults & set about correcting them. That made me connect to him. But am still feeling a slight distance to Jodha, bcos of her previous behaviour in the ghrina days, that am not able to still fully appreciate the goodness in her. I ve thought & thought about it in recent days & felt guilty too for not sympathising with my show s heroine more . Jo also never hesitates to apologise to Jalal when she s in the wrong & this I very much like in both of them. But still something missing for me. This was the only explanation I could come up with that that Jo also has to be shown mending some of her ways & learning too. If she s making Jalal a better person, why cant it be a mutual thing that she also learns some good from him. I know its a big ask from aaj ka serial world, but wish karne mein kya harz hain šŸ˜‰ .

In the meanwhile, I ve decided that I ll go with this version of Jo if it gets our epic JaJo love story, what else to do anyways šŸ˜† . Anyways , thanks for the pm & a very good read. Expecting more such from u 😊 .

This is very true. Learning from mistakes and also from around you are the marks of a true king.

Yeah. Perfect characters are boring. I would rather have two flawed characters growing together and making each other a better person than, two characters, one white and one black.

Yes, There seems to be a disconnect with Jodha as a viewer. I am sure she has learnt a great deal from Jalal, but somehow it is not very clear to the viewer. I blame CV's.šŸ˜›

Thanks Gayathri for the comments. I wish romance starts soon.

Hi
beautifully written piece, it wasa real pleasure reading it. sometimes when person is so consumed in their own pain and hurt they fail to see the hurt they cause others. jodha is awakening that understanding in him and hopefully he will realise that giving and receiving love is not a sign of weakeness but one of great strength.
apologies for the very late response
