TV stars get choosy - Daljit Kaur

The Indian television industry is flourishing and in the presence of a plethora of channels and shows, umpteen doors to a potpourri of roles open. To be a success, it's the right career move that makes all the difference.

Let's take a look at the 'pyramid of criteria' of some of our TV actors when it come role selection.

Daljit Kaur

Post my maiden show, Kulvaddhu, calls have started pouring in. Let's see which project eventually falls in my lap.

Delnaazz Paul

Right now I am busy with a couple of films and as far as television goes, I am waiting for a nice comic role to come my way.

My only show on air, Kittu Sab Janti Hain is on it's last leg. At this stage I am not channel conscious. I have been offered similar middle class girl roles in new shows but I'm looking for meatier offers.

and BAG Films' Ankhiyon Ke Jharokon Se. Talking about offers, I personally filter them. Usually they are the run-of-the-mill kinds, though once in a while I do get approached for something offbeat.
