Life OK used to have a show called Junoon - Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq

It was the story of a girl who grew up without her father & a guy who was a good hearted, loyal village bumpkin. There was a secret about parentage, there was mystery surrounding why the girl & her mother were abandoned by the father. The girl has a fiance that she is soon getting married to when her marriage takes place to the country bumpkin under odd circumstances. Girl learns to accept her marriage & falls in love with the guy but he refuses to accept her as his wife. After many dream sequences, fall & catch routines & eye locks the guy too falls for the girl but by then it is revealed that her ex fiance is a psycho who is out to separate her from hubby & get her back in his life. Just as this track comes to an end, a vamp makes her entry who has designs on the hero who looks exactly like her missing husband. from here It becomes the story of humshakals & love triangles & I don't know what happens next as I left it here.🤢

If you put some of the EBI characters in a box & shake it about, while keeping the basic concept intact, you'll notice that it's the same story😕

Secret about parentage - check
Mystery - check
Marriage under odd circumstances -check
Girl accepts marriage, guy doesn't - check
Negative Ex fiance/gf/friend - Radha? - Yet to be seen
Humshakal (Look-alikes) - Neel/Mrityunjay? - Yet to be seen

There are other similarities too like a no good, cousin brother (Adi?) & his evil, scheming mother (Nimmo?)

The show was nice till the psycho fiance track started & then it went downhill till it had to be axed.
Is Life OK trying to repackage that show & presenting it with a few changes as EBI?

MJ just pretends to not have accepted his marriage!!!!!
Remember he only tried to get rid of his wife so that she would not have to live the life of a widow after him!!!!!
Even back then he cared for his wife!!!!!
And don't even compare our MJ to that hero!!!!!!😡 😡 😡 😡

lol! i have no idea abt the show you're talking abt, so can't say..
actually a teleserial is bound to take the beaten path after a point, and one has to accept it.
the difference lies in the presentation and how the flow goes...

Ebi till now hasn't disappointed, except a few occasions and the leads , for a change can act and is a best thing abt the show...
I liked it today , but have some problems with the nimmo- mj promise thing becoming too obvious

Not comparing at all, though I liked that show till the jealous ex fiance went psycho.
It was the same in that show too, there were hidden feelings but the guy refused to accept😆

I agree most serials take the beaten path but the similarities here are gaping. Just thought I'd mention it since it wasnt that long ago & from the same channel. Almost as if the channel wants to try the same tracks again, presented slightly differently😕

The hero in Junoon who was an orphan was very loyal to the sarpanch of the village & considered him his God. The relationship reminds me of MJ's with baba😕

Please try to understand, I am not comparing, I am merely stating similarities between the 2 shows.

comparisons are not allowed on IF... I'm commenting here just because BP is not active right now...😆

So coming to the point... I used to watch the show... & I know how they ruined it... I would say that was completely different story... that can't happen here... except double role of hero... 😆 vaise baad mein toh maine woh show chod diya tha... but I'm sure CVs of EBI won't ruin it... they are on right track... except few bloopers story is moving in right direction... here they are handing it carefully...

I'm only trying to say that ebi and junoon are two different stories and ebi's story is better
