I noticed some similarities between what I am watching in EBI & what had taken place in Junoon, so thought to bring it up. Thats all.
The handling may be better in EBI, the actors, dress, sets all could be superior, I am not denying that but the fact remains that there are many astonishing similarities in the BASIC STORY of both shows & it makes me wonder if the channel has decided to use parts of it's older failed show, change a few details around, use new actors & call it a new show😕

story line was totally different. ..if I remember correctly. .sorry but can't agree with your view..

If you put some of the EBI characters in a box & shake it about, while keeping the basic concept intact, you'll notice that it's the same story😕

Secret about parentage - check
Mystery - check
Marriage under odd circumstances -check
Girl accepts marriage, guy doesn't - check
Negative Ex fiance/gf/friend - Radha? - Yet to be seen
Humshakal (Look-alikes) - Neel/Mrityunjay? - Yet to be seen

There are other similarities too like a no good, cousin brother (Adi?) & his evil, scheming mother (Nimmo?)

The show was nice till the psycho fiance track started & then it went downhill till it had to be axed.
Is Life OK trying to repackage that show & presenting it with a few changes as EBI?

You know those r valid points. I know what you mean since I followed junoon briefly but it failed to capture me as much as EBI did! The characters in Junoon were not as developed as the ones in EBI. The female lead actually has understood the character at once and the male lead is a splendid actor. In Junoon the lead actress was new to acting in that type of role plus the storyline was starting to lag almost a month into the show. Then the CVs tried to make things interesting but they introduced really awful clichd plots and executed them badly as well... which led to audience losing interest and the show being cancelled.

I also believe that audience need some things in every show such as girl guy takraar then pyaar or people with opposite personalities falling in love. .. which is why it may seem that some shows have similar plots.

Also the most important part of EBI is that the story is completely different from anything else on air right now.

I don't think viraf is playing double role. It has been confirmed he is not playing double role so we can rule that out except if tge cvs hav a plan if changing it. But I don't want any double role it's been repeated too often whenever the trp falls its double role solution I want EBI to break that tradition. I know there will be similarities between shows but double role and coming bak frm death is not my fav things but i trust the cvs and hope they won't disappoint us.

i dont think there wld be any dobule roles twins in show neil and mj are same person that is ruled out

but yes radha coming back and being like vamp and triangle between her and mriara is very much possible i think thats why they brought her alive otherwise what role does she have they have mentioned parallel lead

i wish the makers dont go with same old track of ex gf friend coming back alive to create problems something unique plz have seen it lot before and not fond of such tracks

thats why i wanted radha dead cause i know the moment they show her alive show would follow same old story and i can see fight in forum over radha tara esp if radha comes and prove mj innocence lolz
