My Gift - OS - (Christmas special!)
I got this idea when I was watching a series on TV. It was repeats of the week or something and I really liked the episode so I thought of making a small OS from it! Basically in the OS, Yash and Aarti are a newly married couple. It kind of starts all of a sudden as I couldn't actually find a way to start it properly!

''Yash, I will only give you this folder after you promise me something''
''I just want my folder! Stop playing games, and what do I need to promise you?''

''You want a gift? but what about me hmm? I am a gift ;).
''you have to promise me a gift Yash''
''well what do you want from me then?''
''hmm.. well I will need time to think about it''
''how much time?''
''I don't know maybe 12 hours to think about it''
''12 hours!?''
''Ji haan!''
Aarti swung her arms around Yash's shoulder and hugged him.. Yash put his hands around her waist and squeezed her. His head fitted in this crook of her neck.
''Aarti, you are looking very cute today in my favourite colour yellow saree''
''so do you think that complimenting me is going to get you anywhere? Thankyou Yash for the nice comment but that wasn't the gift I want''
''can I just have my file back please? and by the way I love to praise my beautiful biwi''
''you and your file! its only been a couple of days since we got married and already to want to go straight back to your work.. you love to praise me?''
''is this the gift you want? you want me to stay with you for longer before going back to work and you want me to praise you all the time because I can do that all the time ;)?''
''Yash this gift is going to be special for us.. It will make us stronger as a couple''
Aarti smiled at him and walked out of the room. As she walked out she said
''don't forget to meet me at the street mall!''
Yash ST: I wonder what this 'gift' she wants.. I hope she doesn't want a baby already.. I don't think we are ready yet.

Yash and Aarti meet each other at the mall road..
''Aarti.. *hiccup*.. have you decided what you want then? *hiccup*''
''come closer''
''why? *hiccup*''
Yash came closer to Aarti and hiccupped again, Aarti holds his nose and counts for 5 seconds
''1...2...3...4...5 now breath, your hiccups are gone''
''are you crazy Aarti! I don't think they will go''
Yash's hiccups stopped. Aarti chuckled because her remedy worked.. Yash walks around with Aarti and takes her into a shop..
''Look, you wanted a nice shawl right? here is where you can get the nicest shawls, go on select one for yourself, the most expensive one''
Yash chooses a green coloured shawl and wraps it around Aarti, she feels happy and smiles. She says to him
''I like shawls, thank you Yash''
''what will you ask me in the next 12 hours?''
Aarti laughs, she liked how he tried to avoid the 'thank you' and went straight on to asking the same question again!
''so this is the reason why you are taking me to all the expensive shops? I will give you a couple of hints down the road then you can take a guess''
Yash ST : I really hope that she isn't asking for a baby already..''
They walk out the shop and go down the road. Aarti stops and eats some tamarind and says to Yash
''Yash this is my first hint, it is a small think I know but this makes a husband and wife's relationship more stronger and it increases happiness in their lives''
Yash get confused on the first hint.. hopefully the next clues are going to be easier..
Aarti goes over to a wool shop and shows Yash nitted things out of wool like baby socks and different wool.
''this is my second hint''
Yash is now even more confused, this can only mean one thing.. she wants a baby!
''and my last hint, I don't have to show you, just tell you. Its that thing that completes a married woman..''
Aarti looks up at Yash.. They share a cute little eye lock at the side of the mall... After a minute they stop their eye lock and walk towards the car.

They are back at home and it is evening time. Aarti sits down near her dressing table and is combing her long silky hair, she is in her pink night time saree. Yash enters their room and admires Aarti while she is combing her hair.. She turns around and sees Yash staring at her with a smile on his face. Aarti walks up to him and waves her hand in front of his face. He breaks out of his day dream and tries to run.
''did you want something Yash?''
''this room is also mine you know, it was mine before you entered''
''yes well I know that, but you were looking at me like that so I thought you wanted something''
''no I just wanted that file''
''OH GOD you and that file! I haven't put it anywhere! you go look for it I want to sleep now!''
Aarti stormed off playfully and went to bed. Yash turned off the light and joined her too. He got in and moved closer to Aarti pulling her in towards him. Aarti shuffled her way out of Yash's arms and closed her eyes.
Yash got out of the bed and went outside and sat on the swing outside.. He wondered what this gift is and why was It bugging him so much? He thought to himself that he is thinking to hard about this. He got back in his room to see Aarti fast asleep. He looked at her lovingly and walked towards her. He kissed her rosey red cheek and went to his side of the bed and snuggled in with Aarti. She moved around and put her head near Yash's. Yash peacefully fell asleep.

In the morning.. Aarti woke up first.. She yawned and stretched her arms up. She goes in the shower first and wears her light pink/peachy saree. Yash opens his eyes slowly and sees Aarti smiling and staring at him lovingly..
''you know Yash, you look cho cute when you are sleeping! you seem like a little baby!''
Yash smiles at his wife's cute comment on him.. He lifts himself up from the bed and stops Aarti from leaving the bedroom. He pulls her arm which makes Aarti fall on Yash.
''let go Yash''
''My koobsurat biwi, don't go yet''
''I am not going yet because I am waiting for my gift''
Yash lets go of Aarti at this point and gets up from the bed. He looks very tensed.. He hopes its not what he thinks. Aarti takes out a box from her hairdressing drawer and tells him to open the gift
''open it''
''what is it?''
He opens the box while Aarti smiles at him. He opens the box in a box like nesting dolls and finally he reaches the last box. He sees a box with the picture of Krishna around it. He looks at Aarti confused.
''open it!''
He opens it and sees red powder, sindoor. He is shocked to see this
''sindoor?''
''yes sindoor! *she laughs* what did you think it was?''
''so you wanted sindoor?''
''I want you to start my each day with this very sindoor, I want you to promise me that you will fill my maang with sindoor''
He pinches the sindoor and places it on her maang.. Some of it falls on her nose. He smiles and rubs it off with his finger.
''what was that?''
''you had sindoor on your nose''

Hope you liked my Christmas gift! I know it wasn't very.. I don't know romantic but I hope you liked it as it was different !!
