So here comes another Oneshot on Kriyaansh! Its a fantasy one. Kinju baby !! This is wholly and solely dedicated to you!! Hope I could meet your expectations and its worth a single read atleast!!
You may find similarities between Cindrella and this but its not a copy!!
"Mark!! do it fast!! We need to rush!! " She said tensed. She need to reach home on time.
"Kathe !! No worries !! We have plenty of time " said her cute little squirrel in return grabbing some more berries and filling in the basket she is holding.
" but " she was interrupeted. "Katherine! Today that witch and her daughter will return late. Remember , party in Palace??" he asked grabbing as much as berries he can.
" It would bee awesome right?? mark... how would it be in the party?? " she asked dreamily. Ofcourse Prince is the dreamboy of every girl in that kingdom. None can escape that!!
"Pretty clothes!! Classy masks, delicious food, awesome decorations and a dance with the PRINCE!! " he whispered in her ears as she dreamed of the whole thing. But they both sighed a bit later and headed back.
"I heard Prince Roy is very handsome. I wish you were his princess!! You are so pretty to be a princess!! " mark said sitting on her shoulder.
" We can just dream of it ma... " before she could speak further she fell into a hole. She stood up dusting her already torn dress to find it have a new cut. She looked up and ahead . It looked like a tunnel.
"Mark!! " she whispered
"here!! " she heard a faint voice . Two more times and she found him beneath all the berries and the basket over him and the berries. She opened her palm and he climbed on to it. She looked up at the open hole and stretched her palm up as mark got up with a jump but soon he shouted.
"katherine hide!! soldiers!! " he said and both hid kathe beneath the ground in the tunnel and mark outside under a small bush. But what he next saw horrified him. The soldiers closed the hole properly and left.
A frightened Kathe with no option walked forward . She finally ended up in the food section of the palace!! Tons of cooked delicious food was placed there. She walked through them amazed as she never saw what it looks inside a palace. But she feared as one of the guard asked her to stop as none is allowed in there. She ran for her life where she got space. Four of the guards followed her and she took a sudden turn and the guards lost their track but kept searching. Once entering the room she looked around in awe. The room shinned. Beautiful portraits, golden and white curtains, candles beautifully lit at places, a huge King sized bed covered with golden cloth. She was shocked is an understatement. For a girl who barely got a new dress , this is like a dream to see this expensive smooth shinning fabric. She got alerted hearing the foot steps and just slipped into one of the big cupboards . As she entered she was more shocked. That cup-board contained only one dress. A pink gown.
It looked soo beautiful!! She was so lost in the dress that she quickly slipped into it and saw her hands and body shine in that dress. She grinned. She silently peeked through the key hole. She saw a guy standing and 4-5 servants adjusting his dress and dressing him. She fell for him the moment he turned and her eyes fell on his face. He is an Angel. He seemed no less than a Greek God.She saw him for a long time till he exited the room. Yeah she got know who he was. He was the Prince Roy!!She realized it when the minister addressed him Prince Roy and said that the King wants him in the party venue soon.
She after few minutes thought of escaping silently , The party started . There Prince Roy was showered with love and pretty girls too. Some ugly too. Fair , dark , thin, fat everyone was present there. He was not at all interested in these girls . He don't want one who throws herself upon him. He wants the one who would fit in his frame and make him complete. The one who would love him to no extents!! He unwillingly danced with few when someone grabbed his attention. He questioned himself whether he really saw a girl in that dress?? Which he bought and preserved for his bride?? His Lady?
"Hey you!! "he shouted across the hall and she came to a halt. Everything fell silent.
"who are you !! "his voice was soft.
She was tensed. If she turns her step mother who along with her step sister is present in this hall would kill her in real sense. She sighed in relief seeing some masks placed beside and quickly slipped one on.
"Who are you?? " she shivered as she heard his voice right behind her. She slowly turned around standing face to him and looked into his eyes. They were warm, full of love and she just let herself drown in them. The same was in case of him. He gently wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her close. He was amazed how her curves fitted perfectly in his. That's it. He found her. He found his better half. He knew from those eyes !! They will love him forever. He started moving to the music and danced with her, turned , twirled along with her till they reached the front garden. He finally in a wish to seal the beautiful start leaned in for a kiss. But the clock striking 12 reminded her that she was supposed to be at home and at 12 the party comes to and end . She just turned around suddenly which resulted in her mask in his hand and she ran for her life back home.
" Catch her!! " Roy is not all ready to let his princess go away , so he got onto the horse and followed her with many guards and soldiers around him for his protection. He last saw her take a turn into a street . He stopped in middle of that street and looked around there were a total of 10 houses . And he insisted that he would check all the 10 and will find her.
Last was her house. As he was checking the house and passed through a room he got a glimpse of the gown. He looked at it and grabbed the pretty gown which hugged her few moments back. He could still feel her fragrance.
"Whose room is this?? " he asked still lost in the dress.
"Mine Price Roy!! " And there entered Carol , Katherine's step sister, ugly, cunning and the perfect replica of her mother physically and mentally.
He looked at her with all love. She is ugly, but if she was the girl then he is all ready to make her his.
" Take your Princess to the Palace !! "he declared and walked away with the dress still lost in the dance and waiting for the eve she would get dressed in this gown again as his bride.
Carol and her Mom were more than happy to know that they would ive in the palace for rest of life.

"KATHERINE!! " she sat up startled from her sleep hearing that. From last two days she was doing a lot of work. Hell lot of work. Her step mother got to know that she was the one who wore that dress and left it in Carol's room and instead of thanking she is making her do tons of work.

"He loves YOU kathe!! "mark said hoping atleast this time she would agree to his words.
"No mark.!! I can't be a princess!! I am just a maid. Not even the minimum , a peasant's daughter. "she said sad washing the dishes.
"You Are!! You are the beautiful daughter of a kind -hearted peasant Kathe!! You are so pretty, you are so precious and it makes you the right one to be the Princess. The Prince loves YOU!! " he said again.
"But now I am nothing more than a maid mark!! "she said sadly.
"But you deserve to there !! " he said sadly.
She poked his nose with her wet finger making him rub his nose in return.
"Don't do that!! "he said irritated.
" How much time Kathe?? You need a partner!! Your Prince. " he looked at her again.
" Hmm!! I lost hopes for a Knight in shining armour for me Mark!! I am happy with my friend!! "she smiled and placed her hand down and Mark ran up her shoulder and she rubbed her cheek with it and both smiled.
"What was that?? " mark asked listening noises. Kathe walked a bit front to see from window when the door of the kitchen bang opened.
"You! Don't you dare come out or make a noise!! I will Kill you if anyone got to know that you are present in the house "her step mother warned and quickly left ordering her to make food.
She sighed continued her work when Mark rushed out to know the matter.
It was such that the Prince said it was not Carol whom he danced in the party. It had been 3 days when this took place. And now the prince ordered to make all the young ladies gather in the palace.
"He is searching for you!! "Mark said loudly to her.
"Silence mark!! I don't want to get beaten up again. My arm is still paining. "she said irritated. She is already so broken and Mark is not letting the topic go.
There Ministers entered the house. He said even Carol will be invited. As she too belong to the young ladies category. He enquired about any other girl but her mom said none other is present in house. It was then when he was leaving Katherine shouted loudly as the hot milk spilled totally on her hand as she was so lost . The minister and some guards rushed in even after innumerable tries of Carol and her mom and saw Kathe.
"You said there is only one young lady in this house?? "the minister fumed a bit.
"No no , she is just a maid. " Carol said , the minister glared at her once and took both Carol and Ktherine along with him to the palace. Once reached the palace Kathe felt embarassed as she was the poorly dressed girl among all. She fidgeted with her dress as they announced the arrival of the Prince.
"He will choose you " mark shouted in her ears when she glared at him and shhed him.
Prince Roy took a glance at every lady, but he felt that love in the eyes nowhere.
He finally took a halt at the last girl. Katherine.She was looking down. Breathing fast, highly tensed.
" Hey!! "he called her slowly when she with no option lifted her face and looked at him. One look at him she got lost in him. From the day they danced she dreamt of him, she wanted to see him with her eyes for real all over again , and here he is standing right in front of her eyes. Her eyes reflected her feelings trapping his heart in them. He looked deep in her eyes. He knew she was the one, he got her FINALLY.
"Dad!! Here is your Daughter-in-law, My Queen!! "he spoke still looking at her. The King is so happy!! He is more happy to know that as he wished Prince Roy would be crowned and married on the same day!! The King walked front to Kathe, He caressed her hair and ordered the servants to take extreme care of her and start the Grand celebrations of both marriage and Crowning.
Finally they got married and King Roy was more than happy as he finally to to hold his Queen in his arms. He danced with her, just like the first time, totally lost in each other , but this time seeing at her beautiful face!! As he danced into the garden with her the moon showered his light upon the newly wed couple. He smiled as she blushed and he sealed this beautiful moment in a Kiss!! Their first Kiss!!
And they danced away being in their loved ones arms.
Okay I can't find a much better end that this! Yeah I know I suck at writing these days!
