"My innings at CID comes to an end.
I'm thankful that over the last 17 odd months I got to work with some very fine and talented people in the cast and crew.
As Sr Insp Rajat, I do believe that I brought something of my own to the show, and at the same time, learnt a lot while working alongside some very senior and seasoned actors and technicians.
The show also gave me some very good friends, and an opportunity to rub shoulders with a gentleman who's an inspiration and an important reason why I chose acting as my profession...Mr Aditya Srivastava (Sr Insp Abhijeet).
Thanks for watching.
Now, moving on..."

So, Friends, Vikas Sir ka CID ka safar yahi khatam.

Yeah even I read this on his page as well after a friend told me.
Sad news for Rajat fans it seems .. I wish him all the luck for the future .. nice to know of his friendship with Adi sir :) god bless him with all luck and good future...

This part really touches me...cant believe it 😃
I know he is the inspiration of many of us but actors are inspired also by him...its really great news 😃

Vikas kumar is good actor & he will surely get lots of good chance to entertain us...
I really miss him after Powder & KS ended, & i was so happy as he entered cid...now will wait for his next project...all the best to him 👍🏼

Oh no.. I am unable to accept it😒😒. I really love Rajat sir a lot.. Vivek and now Vikas sir.. FW has lost two gems😒😒. Nice to know that he and Abhi sir share such a good friendship.. Will miss you very much sir😒😒😒.

All the best vikas sir for whatever you do next. I am sure that next character will leave its mark like the Desshmukh of KS and Sr. Inspector Rajat of CID did.

Really sad that he's left CID now as well...but it's so nice to see that Aditya sir was his inspiration.

Vikas sir do come back soon!

It seems that FW keeps losing the gems of CID. First Vivek, then Vineet, and now Vikas sir. And funny thing is that all the gems' names begin with V.
