reshmi you have come up with a very good post rather i wanted to discuss on it its a fear which is haunting me for few days

i have voted for no . dont know how all of a sudden the votes for yes shoot up.

there are few possibilities...

i think this track is just to reveal gangas pregnancy before family. to convince sumi and ds anandi might land up in BH but already anandi has many cases pending and files piled up in her KB to be taken care of.

BVs are not trustworthy sanchi might trick into the process and become surrogate mother then there will be more drama and as usual tracks will revolve around sanchi the great.

getting back to main topic. anandi becoming surrogate mom is yuck... it wud drive shiv further into depression. that wud be very unjust. on a second thought i think anandi will herself require a surrogate for her and shiv's baby the way things are turning up. poor shiv.

Sumi is still young despite being a grandma and in good health.

Also being a surrogate is not just that easy that you take someone else's baby fetus and implant it into just anyone. there need to be blood type matches, dna matches, tissue matches, blood plasma matches... between the child and the mother. If there are differences, then the surrogate mother's womb will reject the fetus...especially after the formation of the umbilical cord.

chances are that if they need to do this surrogacy soon, they will need a blood relative of the child - a mother, a sister ... and looking for a professional surrogate will take a lot of time and testing for compatibility.

Totally agree with tinoo. Sumitra being a surrogate is in good taste though i think Sugna is more apt for it being a young woman. I wonder what makes people think this could be distasteful?

A sister carrying brother's child or a mother carrying son's child in her womb We know its surrogacy but it still sounds so Odd Yes it sounds distasteful i agree with hooked . BV has made enough odd kichdis of relationships now don't make this
This is a multiple voting poll 🤓

I don't think there will be any surrogate mother its only cvs drama to reveal to Jagya and Singhs Ganga is heading for a suicide

But if there will be surrogacy then Anandi or Sanchi yuck🤢 Better stay out of this No one wants these two to be even near JaGan 🤢

Where is Phooli ? She can help , There is that nurse whom Ganga helped or introduce any new character Jaitser does not lack women

But DS can settle only for Anandi. I doubt if she can be convinced for any other woman.

Or maybe they can do something radical like a story shown in an SP serial last year. Mother becoming surrogate for her kid's child.

Or return of Gauri - she can give Jagya's child with her to him and Singhs plus agree to be surrogate for his and Ganga's child.

Suggestions apart this is all a drama to bring out truth of Ganga's own pregnancy. Ganga won't have any other woman hired as surrogate and she'll have to reveal she's pregnant.

Jagya will be aghast. DS will then convince everyone to trust Devi Ma, miracle baby born and probably Ganga also saved.

Gosh, what serial was that? 😲 Gross 🤢 Like hooked says, it feels somehow incestuous for a mother to be a surrogate for her own son's child, even though technically it isn't...

it was lakhon mein ek...it wasn't as gross as it sounds...it was based on real life stories so it was actully happened in real life...the couple wasn't able to afford the fees of professional surrogate mother and they couldn't find proper girls to do it for less amount so the mother of the girl voluntered to give her womb for her daughter's happiness...if you watch the serial it was actually very sweet and didn't look gross at all.

Oh, and the poll results will not be accurate with multiple voting on. IMHO, Anandi should definitely not be a surrogate mother for JaGan's kid. There is a limit to mahaanta. The whole point of Anandi and Jagya remarrying was to develop their own lives away from the bond they were forced into as children. These constant crossovers into each other's lives need to stop. Them developing their individual families has absolutely nothing to do with each other and would result in such emotional awkwardness and messiness. As if the whole Sanchi-Jagya nonsense wasn't bad enough!

A huge thumbs down from my side to CVs if they go down that road 👎🏼

Ohh, OK! That makes a lot more sense now. Kudos to that mum and daughter! I hope that had a happy ending for them.

Actually, I was more shocked because I thought it was a fictional thing and was surprised that I had not heard in the news about any fiction show being that bold. I mean, something like the BALH suhaag raat scene got people's knickers in such a twist... I figured I would surely have heard about it if some serial depicted a mother volunteering to be a surrogate mother for her own daughter. Especially because most serials (BV included now) completely fail to make sensitive issues not look ghissa pitta. Sigh!

I should look up that episode of Lakhon Me Ek... I didn't watch much of that show, but I did enjoy it, and that epi sounds worth a watch. 😳

you should watch...it was relally sweet and nice...and yes it's true that most of the fiction serials cannot bring out the beauty of such sensitive issues properly and they make a joke of it...SSK is the latest example where prem-simar had their daughter through surrogacy but it all turned into big drama 😡
