ok thats ur opinion, but to me dravid is the most egoist captain that india has had... he denied sachin his double hundred in pak and went on to make his own... he did everything to keep dada out of the side but to his bad luck did not succeed... he is not willing to take others' advise and just full of himself... thats my opinion, no offense to anyone...

Dravid did his job as a batsman but certainly not as a captain....I thght his management and rotation of bowlers was particularly poor. He under utilisided Agarkar and over bowled Bhajji and Sachin. Leo I specifically mentioned Zaheer coz frm wht I remember he conceeded the most extras...the extras show the pathetic fielding and lack of discpline in the Indian Side---22 extras is a lot. We seriously need to work on our ground fielding...good fielding can save 20=30 runs in a match.

In terms of batting, nearly every1 failed us. I admire the fact tht atleast Sehwag and Uthappa TRIED to break the shackles....afterall the best form of defence is to attack.

And Leo, it was not Yuvi's fault that the run-out occured coz Yuvi is one of the best runners in the team and Dravid renouned for his ability to get run-out.....Dravid was busy ball watching yesterday---he shd've trusted Yuvi's judgement and run. If Yuvi could run 3/4 of the way down the pitch and then the way back, then surely a run was possible.

And I dont knw wht u guys think but Dravid just doesnt have Ganguly ability to motivate.....Ganguly stuck behind his players and somehow made sure they clicked. He along with John Wright managed to bring out the best in the players----be it Sachin in WC 2003, or Rahul Dravid or Yuvi or Sehwag. Ganguly's agressiveness and willingness to take risks is wht made him a good operator....Dravid just lacks tht punch and fiery air Ganguly has. Ganguly didnt give a damn abt any1 while Dravid seems more lik Chappel's puppet.

Somehow, i feel Chappell has not motivated but instead installed fear into the players.....

Winning the match is the main motive of every captain...so was Rahul's.....}

The problem with Rahul is that he is really soft!! He is over-disciplined!! I mean....he can't yell at the cricketers!!! He will encourage them by patting them or telling them encouraging words personally!! Little does Rahul realize that being soft can only make things worse.....coz ppl don't understand him!😔

Yes, no one understands him... cause i really doubt if he understands himself. You can only understand a person who is SURE of himself! And i have to say he isnt! He sits in the press conference and doesnt even realise he makes a ridiculous comment as 'Our job is cut out now!' What message was he sending out? That he didnt know what is teh main purpose of coming to WI? He needed some real stats to some serious run rate requirements for him to realise he is a the highest stage of World Cricket?

If he motivated the team well enough... it would have shown... theyw ould atleast FOUGHT till the end rather than accepting defeat like that! I am not blaming Yday's match on Capt... i am blaming his entire tenture!

He might be Soft/over disciplined, well those traits are surely not need of the hours... u have gone to WC to play World Tournament and not lobby for a Noble Peace Price!

Rahul isnt a natural leader... u need to be a dare devil, u need to be confident about the decisions and more importantly u need to be courageous to execute those decisions and face the consequences of it! And above all the most defining quality of a leader is his instincts... some are developed through teh game some natural... and Rahul has none of these qualities.

He was one of the finest players India will ever see... but once he took over the mantle of a captain, it lead to a fall not only in his personality but also that of the team.

India is a very emotional unit... u will have egos flying alll over teh place and u will hate it if u see an outsider come and dictate terms to you. That is when a capt has to be the link between the capt and coach... Here was a capt who allowed the coach take control of the team... and Greg by personality is very arrogant... so the team began to resist their the duo... and dravid standing by his coach than the boys he was meant to stand by did the damage to the teams togetherness

ganguly was a inspiring captain... to see him so energetic, so agrresive, so "at it" in the game rubbed that off on other players... but dravid hides behind others... can he explain why he dropped himself to No. 4 against BANGLADESH 😕 its a shameful performance and the nation is disgraced... these were like 11 brand ambassadors for big companies playing, not team india... how proudly he says "Lo Ban Gaye Sansui Ke Captain"... that is wat they r good for...

If you did not see the match then you are not suppose to comment here coz india is at neither at sky or land. Then if bangladesh wins how will india win . I think your dreaming.😳

Rahul Dravid trully acted as the Wall by scoring 60 runs dispite his cramps!! If u wanna blame someone blame Sachin, Dhoni and all the duckers of the team!!😡

Now those stooopid comments will start in news channels abt India's defeat!! They will start blaming Dravid.......I know what the hell they will say.....Some stupid ppl will say that Dravid's decision of bowling first was stupid....

They don't know how much pressure he has on his head......I agree that Dravid goes out of form sometimes but no one notices that he also comes back in form after he has performed badly.....For example...After Dravid's performance against Bangladesh with a poor score....he immediately scored a very good 60 against Sri Lanka....

Now!! Listen Navjot Singh Sindhu and Ajay Jadeja.....I am you guys fans!! But if u guys tell anything against Rahul Dravid in NDTV.....I will say all sorts of bad words!! And believe me I know many!!😡

Shaant Shruthi shaant, calm down. I don't think anyone is blaming Rahul as a player, people are only questioning his leadership role which is bound to happen after this WC debacle.

Look as a batsman he was great today no complaints but its time for him to step down and saurav ganguly to take back the captaincy . Only he shows the aggression and the attitude and leadership that is needed in the team now

I agree wid every word of yours!!
Dravid is a very very good batsman as he showed against SL too...but he lacks great captaincy skills! He is not quick in making changes jus like Inzy. They both are not aggressive captains..He doesnt lead the team...Saurav had all these qualities. He was the most successful captain for India! he shud b given the captaincy back!
