Don't u guys think that Rahul became a WALL yesterday and scored many runs for the team!! If he were also out, we wudn't even have made 150+!! 😕 That wud be more shameful!

ofcourse Dravid is to blame....Yuvi got out coz Dravid asked him to go back although Yuvi was 3/4 of the way down the pitch.....and Yuvi staying was critical esp considering how well he played in the home series against SL.....as for Dravid' captaincy: why did he get Sachin to bowl 2 overs more than required.....he bowled Agarkar for only 8 overs althgh he was the best bowler yesterday? Great planning that....if Agarkar bowled instead of Sachin then perhaps SL wouldnt get to 250. And why did Harbhajan--who was the worst bowler of the lot (econ of 5.3 runs!) a 10 over spell? Dravid might be a gr8 player but he isnt a gr8 captain esp when u compare him to Ganguly.....he lacks Ganguly's aggressiveness which is SO important for a WC.

Saying tht...the others are to blame as well.....it was a collective failure...Sachin shd go take care of his restaurant....Dhoni was the biggest disappointment for me---he didnt do anything in any of the matches and he is the 2nd best in hte ICC rankings right now!! And wht was Ganguly thinkin while playing tht shot tht got him out???? 😕 😕

The bowlers esp Zaheer lacked discipline and gave away too many extras....22 extras for god's sake!!!!

Yuvi should have been sensible enuf to know that the ball hadn't gone that far and he shouldn't have run.....He is a batsmen and should atleast have a sense of when to run and when not to!

And Abt Zaheer........I think it was Dhoni's mistake for giving away a lotta runs while Zaheer was balling.....Dhoni gave away 12 runs simply!!! That big idiot! And....Zaheer alone couldn't have given 22 extras!! I don't think so!! but 22 runs given simply is really bad compared to Sri Lanka's 8 - 9 extras!

No one has the experience and guts to be a captain like Rahul!! Being a captain is a big responsibility and he should be concrete enuf to face critisisimz....Although Dravid is very soft at heart....He knows what is right and what is wrong! Abt motivating the team......They don't show on camera what Rahul is doing to motivate the team!! All this motivation stuff happens in the dressing room!! He can't motivate on the field when he is batting yaar!😃

Abt Sourav being the captain.....I think he is an excellent player but not fit for a captain coz he just gets angry really fast if he doens't have things his way....and this is not what a captain should do....
A captain should be patient and calm even in bad times!!

After Sourav....Sehwag and Sachin are experienced...but both are useless for the responsibility of a captain.....If they can't take care of themselves on the field.....how can they take care of a team of 11 members??

And After those both.....I don't think anyone is experienced enuf to become a captain....So....Rahul Dravid is the most worthy enuf to remain the captain!😳

Dravid's job was not restricted to scoring the runs... but get the team to score it! Score runs, is that all a capt is supposed to do? So if he scores those runs he is free from all responsibility? I dont think so! Dravid's failure is in not being able to hold a team together... the team has been degenerating into smaller groups right from the time he and greg took charge... he was given all of 2 years to build his team...infact he was already given a readymade team and he didnt hold them together! His man management is where he failed! His Captaincy was a wrong decision from the word go as beacuse as Ajay Jadega will say 'He isnt a natural leader and doesnt enjoy captaincy'

India was in a similar situation in the prev WC...look at the way Dada held them together, fought the world, fought the ex-cricketers for lashing out the team even told the supporters back home that he didnt care if they stood by the team or not cause they were there for eachother! If u have such a captain who is taking the world on to protect u, U will be willing to do anything for him... so when Dada asked the team to perform out of their skins... they did just that, they played like a team possessed... and look where India reached in the last World Cup! It is sad that Dravid being a deputy to the most successful captain India will ever see didnt learn any Man Management from him!

Finally what happened yday was waiting to happen... there was a lack of passion to win... which the captain and coach did nothing to rejuvenate!

u r free to support whoever u want and give dravid the status of a wall or god or whatever but everyone has his opinion and is free to express... dravid has really gone wild with his decision making and attitude since the time he has been made captain... he was a wonderful player always, but he has suddenly and very apparently changed in his attitude since he has been made cvaptain... he is the most egoist captain the india has had... he denied sachin his double hundredin pak and himself went on to make his double... he did everything to keep dada out of the team but to his bad luck did not suceed... he is very single track thinking and is very stubborn... how he gives shewag countless chances is very weird... even a kid wud end up making a hundred if given so many chances... and still dont know why he kept pathan sitting out and agrakar playing... he drops kumble, he decides to bat first... guru greg and dravid are made for each other - both shud be dumped as soon as possible or just crazy fans will be forgiving every mistake of theres and keep watching his sansui ads - captain of sansui team, is not good enough to be captain of india...

You can't say that coz no captain will want the team to lose! Every captain will want his team to win no matter what the cost is.........He must have done all the motivating stuff already like duh!
Winning the match is the main motive of every captain...so was Rahul's.....}

The problem with Rahul is that he is really soft!! He is over-disciplined!! I mean....he can't yell at the cricketers!!! He will encourage them by patting them or telling them encouraging words personally!! Little does Rahul realize that being soft can only make things worse.....coz ppl don't understand him!😔

The decision to drop Kumble was bad though.....But Sehwag is the only good batsmen we have and if we even put Gautam Gambhir back in our team....he can't be trusted coz he hasn't played for long and who knows he might lose his form.....As for Sehwag.....He proved fruitful for Dravid coz he came back in form after giving many chances!😊
