Now, before anyone in this forum jumps to conclusions I'd like to clarify the purpose of stating the title.
So far we have seen the Deshmukhs and Ankita's siblings being unhappy with the whole wedding after finding out that Naren is mentally unstable. However, it is upsetting to see how they behave with him. I mean wasn't it Ankita who accepted the deal in the first place?
She isn't the victim yet everyone feels like she is. Rushali had told her that she can leave and she will still fulfill the needs of her family but Ankita refused that and took up the offer.
On Ankita's part it was an impulsive decision. She was upset with Sushank and found that only way out was to marry Naren.
It is clear that she doesn't feel for him, is frightened and would run away given the opportunity. But, in all this I feel for Naren. Yes, he is mentally unstable but that is not his fault. The way Ankita's little brother said that Prashant told him to keep away from him since he was pagal was heart breaking.
I was hoping that this track was more reasonable and definitely more enjoyable but even though Naren's antics make me smile, Ankita's character makes me sad.
I am not saying that Ankita should forget everything and be happy but if she has taken the initiative to do something, then she should do that with all her heart.
I remember the thread someone made of the sacrifices that people have made in real life and you could see from the thread how these people sacrificed but also learned to accept it and move on in life.
Also, I don't get what is the problem with Archu, Sulo and the rest. Naren has been sweet to them and hasn't said a word yet they all look like he will come with a knife after them. I feel Ankita and the D-clan need to truly accept Naren in order for this story to go anywhere.
Unless and until Anki doesn't try to cure him or spend more time, he will not get better and we will be ages away from their romantic relationship.
Sorry to those who don't feel the same. It was just my opinion and I felt the need to say it since I feel that Naren, as a person, is not being treated properly. Its following the stereotype that most people follow towards the handicapped.
