Nice update ... So Arnavs mom asked Khushi to leave Arnav so that he will marry Tara...and that too in exchange of money...but probably Khushi declined money..and knowing Aarthi's condition and Arnav's problems...she agreed to break Arnav's heart so that he will marry Tara...

PART 24

Person: What amount you wish in exchange of leaving Arnav?

The person asked again bringing Khushi back.

Khushi: Excuse me, That is my personal and how come you know about us and who are you to ask such things?

Khushi asked politely as she was not taught to raise her voice before such people. The person noticed this and smiled goofily.

Person: I think he told about his financial crisis. If he marries you what can he give you? More than that what can you give him?

Khushi: Why do you expect me to answer you?

That person gave her a visiting card. Khushi scrunched her brows and gave it a look. As she saw the name in the card, her eyes went big like saucers.

Khushi: Aa.. aap?

Person: Yes me. So I think now I can expect answers.

The person said and sat on the chair Khushi signed to sit.

Khushi: See, I don't expect anything from him. If you think I cannot give him anything, then I cannot say anything. I truly love him and I will stand by him through everything. I know he is going through tough time. But I trust him. I know he can come up. I have faith in him.

Person: See Khushi, that's your name right? See, I know all these. But do you think all these will help him financially? But someone is ready to do that and he is declining because of his promise to you. Don't you think that, you have to help him in this?

Khushi politely explained but anyone could see the fury in her eyes for talking such things about her love.

Person: you don't understand do you? I am saying that a person is ready to help him financially.

Person: I mean that, if he marries that person's daughter, he would get the property that is in her name which will help him in business. I think now you understand.

Khushi: So you expect me to leave? Why don't you think that I can work and help him with my salary?

Khushi: So this is the value of Arnav's dream? Sorry this is not sarcastic. It's a genuine question. See I don't want any of this. Please don't give this and make me feel like I sold my love. I am just leaving him as I also want him to achieve heights like you want. And I think you know that you cannot fix amount for Love. So please keep it with you and take what I am giving.

Khushi brought the packet and gave it to the Person.

Person: What is this?

Khushi: This is the money I brought by selling the land that my parents left for me as a deposit for my marriage and future. But I dreamt of Future with Arnav alone. Not anything else. So I sold it for his future. Don't worry. I don't see my future anymore. So I don't mind giving this money for Arnav's sake whether I am with him or not. And along with the money you offered me, keep this money also. I know 5 lakh is very less when compared to amount needed. But still it can help to some extent. Thank you.

Person was dumbstruck. Who could expect this from a middle class girl. Who would expect this? Khushi sold the only property that her parents left for her secure future. For Arnav. For his father's dream. Now this is called love.

Person: Sorry about that. I know about you. But I offered money only for what you are doing. So that you can settle down in life with bright future.

Khushi: I think I dint give anyone the permission to worry about my future other than my nanhe and buaji and to some extent Arnav. You know that I wont think about my future with anyone else other than Arnav. Haan, that doesn't mean that I will break my promise to you. I will move out of his life. Like you said I will send him the letter too. Now if you have finished...

Person: Ok, See to that you send the letter within two days, till then you will receive your college certificates too. Make sure that your brother also doesn't come to meet Arnav.

Khushi: Don't worry, Nanhe and Arnav don't know each other. And by the time I leave Nanhe will also come with me as its his vacation. I will see to that.

That person dictated what she should write in the letter and left the place. Khushi made all the arrangements. Her studies got over 2 months before. So she requested the university to provide her the certificate as soon as possible stating some reason.

She went to Nanhe and poured all her turmoil as he was the only one with whom she can share all her personal matters with.

Khushi: Nanhe, I want you to make arrangements for me to return Lucknow.

Aditya: Why jiji? Suddenly? You said that you will work in Delhi. Then?

Khushi said him about her love and all the promises, the proposal then his financial problem and at last her reason for the decision.

Khushi(Irritated and rises her voice): Nanhe hum apke jiji hain. Jo hum keh rahe hain woh suniye. Ulte sawal mat kijiye. Aur hum na kuch din Lucknow mein Preeto ke ghar mein rahenge unki godbharai attend karke uske baad Buaji ke ghar jayenge(I am your sister. Listen to what I say. Don't question me. And we will be staying in Preeto's house for Babyshower and then return to Buaji's house).

Aditya: But jiji, I have classes, you go to buaji's house first. Then I will join you in Preeto's house. After all she is our childhood friend.

She made sure that her letter reached Arnav within 2 days, which was the day of Anjali's Haldi. Then she left Delhi and went to Lucknow. She knew that Arnav will definitely search for her. So she planned to stay in Preeto's house. By the time the function gets over, Arnav may get married. Then he may not have time to think about her.
